Of all of these underworlds, Sumaguing Cave has the biggest chamber, earning its nickname “The Big Cave.” Inside are countless rock formations slowly shaped by nature over thousands of years. These rock formations mimicking familiar shapes are the highlight of this spelunking adventure.
It has a depth of 163 meters and considered as the deepest cave in the Philippines. More than 500 feat depth.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT SUMAGUING CAVE. The best time to visit Sagada is during the cold season. This is from November to February.
ACCIDENT. The closure according to Sagada Tourism officer Robert Pangod came after the death of a 15-year-old boy who fell while playing inside the Crystal Cave Monday, April 3.
