Hi, This has always been a bit of a mystery for me. Usually i just go ace hardware who has an incredible selection of bolts, screws, nuts, and other stuff and muddle threw till i find wht i need or get frustrated bcuz the bolt/nut thread is custom from the company im wrkng on.
one of the thread I am checking matches 12G on thread pitch gauge and it's major diameter is around 44.5 mm.From BSW chart ,12TPI belongs to 1/2 inch thread. But for 1/2 inch thread, major diameter is around 12.7 mm(here i have around 44.5 mm). Also from BSW chart , for 44.45 mm diameter, it is 1 3/4 inch thread size. But its TPI on chart is only 5.Can you please identify which size thread is this ?

I did the same thing until I learned how to use a pitch/thread gauge

I’m sorry, but I would really need to see the bolt to identify it’s threads
Video has good info but the music makes it hard to concentrate!
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
@@Trevkongable what do you teach?
Great work.
Thanks so much
Hallo bro. I am located in Indonesia. I found a thread gauge on the bolt. the number of gauges is very much one tool
Oh nice
NEEDS MORE MUSIC. I can still hear the guy blabbing.
Yeah, sorry about the music, it was a little overwhelming
Get rid of background music unnecessary
Good to know, thanks
