I have had a ton of luck from Mid Nov- Late Feb with Lipless Crankbaits, Single Tail Grub on a round moon head type Jig, and Paddle tail swimbaits from the 3.2-3.8 size on a round jig head near rocky banks and tree lay downs.
Great stuff, Miles! I don't think many anglers realize just how versatile cold weather fishing can be. It still amazes me at the many different ways you can still catch fish, even in the winter months.
Thanks for the Info Miles. I love throwing that little swimbait this time of year. I do really good on Norris Lake this time of year and during the spawn. I just recently moved to Knoxville and would like you to maybe do a video on the lakes around here like Norris, Douglas, and Fort Loudon. Thanks again.
I'm a Florida guy and I started following you because of Bass Fishing Declassified. Will these tips work down here or is it still not cold enough. My water temp was 67 10 mins ago
Thanks for following. Honestly, these aren’t your best options unless you are fishing lakes like the Conway Chain or Butler Chain, where they will work well. I’ll do a video for some Florida specific techniques. What lakes do you fish
@@SonarFishing I fish mostly small lakes and ponds in Pasco County and near lake Tarpon. I'm primarily a small craft and kayak fisherman. Eventually branching out into some of our rivers. I just got my kayak. Thank you for the detailed response.
Your absolutely great but for God sake fishing is learning, your just giving lazy people the answer to the test. Stop it, your hurting the sport . In the end you're hurting our sport for a quick buck. It will end. If u can't win enough to make a living fishing stop selling cliff notes that hurt everyone
Knowledge is learning, too! You don't stumble across informational fishing videos like this by accident. If you found this video, you clearly have a passion for fishing. Who put a gag order on opinions and good advice? We're still in America, right? This guy is a GODSEND for the guy who works 70+hrs a week, providing for a family of 6, who fishes for serenity on his 30min lunch breaks. Weekends tend to be busier than weekdays for folks like myself. The love of the game, brother...there's no room for pride and ego here. God bless
Glad you’re working with Jonny ! Matt’s great and Randy’s been around as long as me 😎
Awesome. Be there tomorrow
Have fun
