Songs set on 3 continents, in the 4 eras of humanity, only 3 songs are about the wwi and the wwii. The last stand is proof that artillery or automatic weapons are not necessary for Sabaton to create pieces of art.
Mine began with Bismarck, that was the first song of theirs that I heard. My friend played it after we finished building his new computer. I wish I had discovered them sooner though, especially pre-2022 when my mom was still alive. I think she would have liked them a lot, too.
My 23 year old son recently introduced me to Sabaton & they have become my favorite band to listen to while working, driving, etc. The writing, playing & vocals are all very powerful & polished! I would pay an obscene amount of money to see them live.
Winged hussars was the first song i heard from sabaton like 5 years ago. And nowadays I know every song you have published and i have large collection of your clothes from your merchandise shop❤ Love and support from Finland🇫🇮🔥🤘
Finally, one of my favorite albums, let's get ready for the party of tomorrow where we can hear more stories and learn stuff about songs. Sabaton please continue bringing metal and rock and roll forever
Thank you very much for all the good songs you have given us for 25 years. I discovered you in 2009, when you played together with Hammerfall at Rockefeller in Oslo, and haven't looked back since. For me, you have to be the only band I can think of that doesn't have a single bad song. Great gratitude from Trondheim in Norway 🤘🤘🤘.
I don’t think that there is a single song on this album that I don’t like. But then again, there’s not a single Sabaton song I don’t like. Looking forward to the party!
Hannes is absolutely right. Rorke's Drift is a banger and deserves to be played live. The energy would me intense: clapping in the intro, moshing in the verse and chorus, and the solo would be face melting.
I love the solo from "Hill 3234" so much!! It's one of my favorites from Sabaton and it would be amazing to hear it in concert now that Thobbe is back 😀
In general: I would love to one day hear The final solution live. I still believe that it is among the best sabaton songs ever produced. not because of the musicianship but because of the way the topic is handled and communicated. Otherwise: I heard Winged Hussars, check on that. I haven't heard shirojama and rokes drift yet. so I want these 2 live for sure! And also: "Noch ein Bier!".....1 hour ago. probably.
The Last Stand was the first song I knew from you guys. I chanted the lyrics for a few months and for some reason I never looked deeper. About two months after first listening to The Last Stand I met a good friend of mine who introduced me to what is now one third of what I listen to. Absolutely epic songs, please continue.
Once again, you boys show us all why you are one of the GOATs. I've loved you since you opened for Hammerfall in 2004 (2003?) but damn, you just keep getting better! Please keep doing what you do and keep being real. My daughter, who only listens to urban rap suddenly discovered you and now she's slowly turning into a metalhead. That's on you so, THANK YOU!!!
Due to the 80th anniversary of the tragic event this year in my town of Skalbmierz, Świętokrzyskie on August 5, 1944, a tribute to the heroes of the fight for a piece of the Partisan Republic (Kazimiersko - Proszowicka) called the Skalbmierz Pacification. Honor and glory to the heroes. "The Last Stand is one of greatest and favourite an albums ever :-)
Two of my all-time favorite songs: Winged Hussars (incidentally my intro to Sabaton) and Shiroyama. The former is simply a cultural gem from my ethnicity; the latter linked to my avocation - 50+ years in the martial arts with almost 30 years immersed in Japanese weapons training & teaching.
My introduction to the band. After watching a video of a guy firing different guns to the beats of Sparta, I didn't know about Sabaton before then. I gave them a search, my life changed forever after that moment a year ago
This is definitely one of my favorite Sabaton albums. I would love for you guys to tackle more medieval or ancient topics in the future. There's so many fascinating battles and historical figures from before the 20th century that would make for great material.
The Last Battle was the first Sabaton song I ever heard, since then I've picked up guitar been playing for 6 or so years and I just absolutely love Sabaton!
You guys going back through your albums has made me feel that I really need to see you guys live the next time you are in my area. Also feel there could be a pair of shows given this series with one of you guys playing songs you don't normally get to play and another that is just your guys favorites from Sabaton's past. In any case thank you all for the wonderful music and for helping me to learn more about history
My local record store as well as websites online have had this album back ordered for a while now. Watching this listening party reminded me to search again and it looks like Target in the United States is going to be selling Sabaton albums soon. Hyped!
Underrated album, so many bangers. winged hussars, shiroyama, and sparta being some of my favorites. But my heart will always lie with the last stand as it was the first sabaton song I heard.
Wow ... they really seem like nice guys .. they are my favorite band now ( displacing Megadeth & TSO ) There is NOBODY even close to these guys.😃 The level of craftsmanship in their music is unequaled.
I will always think you should play No Bullets Fly and Night Witches. But from this album I like Last Stand, Last Battle and Winged Hassars the best. As a whole this album is fantastic, and super fun to listen to.
Hello Sabaton, with all due respect, do you think that on The Last Stand album is the song of a Japanese soldier who never gave up during and after the Second World War and fought until the end. His name is Hiroo Onoda, a Japanese lieutenant who fought in China and then in the Philippines. There he was in command of his division and received the strict order not to abandon his base and resist and to wait until his compatriots arrived to pick them up. He fought and fought until 1974 when he realized that the war was already over and he surrendered to the Philippine government of that time. The name of the song is called The Last Soldier. Please 🙏🥹 greetings from Peru friends 🇵🇪🙏😎😉
Among my favourite albums. The highlights are definitely The last stand (the song that, along with Bismarck, got me into Sabaton) and Shiroyama. Also I love how they don't name their albums randomly, every album lives to its name, this one being about, well, last stands.
Last Battle is certainly one of the best Sabaton songs. Particularly up to this point as of this album's release. But Lost Battalion follows closely as it was at some point in the fighting in the Ardenne during WW1 that my grandfather (dad's side) who was part of the American Expeditionary Force was killed. Leapt upon a German grenade that landed among them.
love ya guys sooo much love from MURICA!! i saw a kid the other day wearing a Sabaton shirt im 41 years old anyways i started singing the songs to him i said DUDE your wearing my favorite band i know every song
You Are the Best guys. Thank you for the Best Music. Miss you guys. I Hope we See us at a concert in Germany. I will be there… love greetings Andrea Camplair
For me, I would say that my favourite songs from this album are Last Stand, as it was one of the first two songs I ever listened to of Sabaton, and Last Dying Breath, as the sound is so good, and the story behind it is truly amazing and inspirational.
Planning to finally see you live in Vegas this October. Life will not be complete without hearing Night Witches. Anything and everything else is fantastic, too.
My fun busy day tomorrow just got even better! Will miss the live chat, but will fit this video in perfectly between the demolition derby and the stock car races. (I often add a mental Sabaton soundtrack to both!) Also, thanks for getting me through a really rough week. The Race to the Sea short helped a lot! 😊
Sit Chris and Hannes beside each other next time for some crack 😂😂 seems like some bromance going on there - could be fun. 14 years with sabaton for me. Amazing and inspiring musicians. Can’t wait for more 😊
I've been looking forward to this one. Not only is it my favourite album but it was released shortly before I heard of you guys for the first time and it's the only one where I have all but 1 regular song in my main playlist (The Lost Battalion is the outlier together with the Diary and All Guns Blazing) although The War To End All Wars is close with "just" no Sarajevo and Versailles. Plus it includes multiple favourites of mine, namely Rorke's Drift, Blood of Bannockburn, The Last Stand, Shiroyama and The Last Battle
Last Battle, Last Stand, Angels Calling, Lost Battalion, No Bullets Fly, Inmate 4859, and Price of A Mile are all severely underrated and need to be played Live!
Sparta or Blood of Bannockburn are probably my favorites on this one. Those songs are just all vibe, they work so well. Shiroyama is also great. For songs to play again, I love some of the earlier ones. Rise of Evil is very underrated I think, and sort of unique as far as Sabaton songs go. But I love when the older ones gets played among all the newer material. Poltava and Konungens Likfärd are also really strong songs.

Mine too
Mine began with Bismarck, that was the first song of theirs that I heard. My friend played it after we finished building his new computer.
I wish I had discovered them sooner though, especially pre-2022 when my mom was still alive. I think she would have liked them a lot, too.
Mine began around this era as well, when they made the Primo Victoria video with World of Tanks in 2017
I love watching 20% of epic solos, 40% of Joakim singing, 25% of chatting and 15% of drinking beer
The Last Stand is one of my favorite Sabaton songs. Miss you guys! Greetings from HEL
I usually miss things like this so I'm so happy catch this one with Sabaton. 🤘
Fr but imma miss it now again and catch up if the live is still on🙆♂️🤘

I would absolutely love you guys to bring 7734 into one of your future sets when you tour the UK again!
Same when they tour in France or Luxembourg !!!
My two favorite songs on this album are 'The Winged Hussars' & 'The Last Stand' - monumental orchestration & lyrics!!!!
This is my favorite album. The last Stand, Sparta, Winged Hussairs, Shiroyama, Rorke´s Drift, Camouflage.
Love camouflage such a banger
Finally, the winged hussars have arrived!

Once I finished watching the movie "Braveheart", I felt OBLIGATED to listen to Blood of Bannockburn immediately after, I HAD to!
This was the album that really got me into Sabaton 🤘 not the first songs I heard but the first album that I dove into
The Last Stand is probably my favourite Sabaton album. I love the variety of historical periods on it. 🎸 🤘🏻 ❤️🔥

Love this Album, especially drumming wise. I would love to get SPARTA back on the Setlist!
Another of my favorite Sabaton albums. To me, this is another awesome Sabaton album.
Rorke’s Drift should have gotten way much love ❤️
Loved the slow Sparta Intro sounded really good too

Ah, that Sparta intro... It blew my mind back then. It was somewhat a tough period of my life and the spirit of the song was very empowering for me.

Far from their land as they made their stand...And their legend still lives on.
Happy 25th Anniversary!. thank you for all the Epic music! And look into South American History for future albums!
Happy 20th anniversary to Sabaton, here's to many more awesome years. Greetings from America.
I've been waiting for this for 8 months
Please add Winged Hussars back to your setlist for the next leg of the US Judas Priest tour!!! Would absolutely LOVE to hear it live! ❤🤘🏻😝
The Last Stand and Shiroyama were my first Sabaton songs and my firts concert 55:18 55:21 Resurrección Fest 2022. We need you back. Spain wait you😂😂
The first metal song I've ever heard was Sparta. This album holds a special place in my heart ❤

All Guns Blazing bonus track is on this album, which is also fire.
Ngl, that slowed down Sparta intor would be a great concert opener XD

If you ask, I'm addicted to the last stand and the final battle... Love it!
most consistently best band out there, all sabaton songs are so good
Rorke's Drift is such an underrated song. The Last Stand is in my top 3 Sabaton songs along with Carolean's Prayer and Seven Pillars of Wisdom.
This is my personal favorite album. Every song is fantastic. I would love to see them play Blood of Bannockburn live
Thanks for that. Means a lot! 🤘
Granted, I haven't heard all your songs yet (only been a fan for a short while), but so far my favorite song is The Last Stand (the live version)
You Are the Best guys. Thank you for the Best Music. Miss you guys. I Hope we See us at a concert in Germany. I will be there… love greetings Andrea Camplair

I love how they got the red Baron beer box in the background
I have to find time to look at this live stream tomorrow. Don't wanna miss it!🤟
The song The Last Stand was the first Sabaton song that I heard and from this album it's my favorite along with The Lost Batalion
