im so glad they brought a sense of driving style to the us finally. not in the form of formula d, while that takes a certain talent, being fast is different than going fast. this video makes me feel like im 5 again getting so excited to see something good happen. as stated before by someone else, this also brings a tear to my eye. this is real drifting. this is what its about.
Super D was awesome. Naoki and Miki definitely showed their championship skills to the other drivers for what real drift is. Seeing the tandem runs in person were mind blowing!
One of the best drifters in the world ! this video makes a little justice to his talent its a shame people dont give him the respect or the recognition he deserves on the drifting world (big leagues)
I absolutely LOVE Grange motor park. For the exact reason the guy says. It's about style and driving. Super technical. I've now moved to the other side of the country but will train the trip back for sure.
There are tons of TH-cam comments on different drifting videos about what is "Real" drifting. It's nice to see someone has recognized it for what it really is, two distinct styles of drift, that may have had a similar origin, but have each evolved into completely different animals; each with their own technique and style. While I prefer the Japanese style of drifting, watching guys like Frederik Aasbo or Vaughn Gittin Jr drift is nearly as enjoyable for me, even though the styles of drift on display are as different as NASCAR is to F1 (both of which I enjoy as well). I guess, I'm just saying we should all just enjoy it for what it is. Thanks for a great video
Some of your best work so far, really brings the difference between Japanese and American drifting into light and gives more of a personal perspective on Naoki. Side Note: I was at Sonoma when he was there.
Absolutely amazing to see Nakamura show the US how it's done. He blew us away in Australia 5 years ago!!! Massive well done to Shane and the guys for getting this to happen
damn you know how to make a lovely video!! i wish i can see him one day drifting live in front of me. he´s just a incredible drifter got massive skills a absolutely sick drivingstyle and is since 7 or 8 years one of my biggest idols in the driftworld! and animal style rocks too man they are one of my favorite drift teams i love this car style and aggressive driving style above all animal style members from julian.. that naoki come the long way to america and pick from all these many driftteams just animal style is such great
Drifting originated in Japan but as usual, America thinks it knows better about this than the originators when the Japanese drift better than anybody! 🙄
finish your lap as quickly as possible with the most angle possible. that's all drifting is to me. one day angle pots and lap timing will be a thing...
I want to drive but I can't yet because I'm way too young and Naoki inspires me to just get my Mom's Rsx keys and drive, but I can't because I'll get in trouble big time. :D
It's arrogant to say that Formula D is just power sliding when D1 is no different now that most pro cars are 600-1000+ Hp. I thought the same about the current pro field, but it's far from being that simple. Yes the competitions are starting to get repetitive and predictable. However, the sport progressed far beyond what it was during it's golden years. High power vehicles, close tandem battles, and most international success is what Keiichi, Daijiro, and all the other founders of the sport wanted to achieve and they did. FD is probably the better end of pro drift at the current moment because of it's diversity in drivers as opposed to D1 that pretty much just has veteran drivers from 10 years ago.
Naoki is hands down the best drifter in the world and has been for years now.
Frank Torre I agree
totally agree 🦗👍🤙✌️

Deadpoolicious thank GOD im not the only one, it shows the passion and dedication he has for drifting and is by far the best driver I've seen

This was great. The community reaching out to others not just for becoming better but to make friendships that will last.
I got the feels watching this. I love Japan and Japanese style.
This is the best drift video I've EVER seen. I'm serious. I'm trying to put into words how fucking good it was and I just can't do it.

I love that an essentially stock SR20 can pull away from a Pro FD 900hp V8 :D
then the american pro drivers get all salty cuz they can't keep up

Last song is Needed - King's Lynn (remix)
I want to drive but I can't yet because I'm way too young and Naoki inspires me to just get my Mom's Rsx keys and drive, but I can't because I'll get in trouble big time. :D

I'm back to view this again, Well said Shane but the yanks still don't get it!
reminds me of Atsushi Kuroi
Anyone know the name of the last song?
thats my dog buddy at 10:03 haha
awesome video!!
what a damn legend
naoki🤴👍🤙✌️
Amazing!
Came back to this video for mental stimulation
I miss team burst and those dmax stickers.
Beautiful
Fire!
it may just be me. but Naoki reminds me of Bunta from Initial D
Wepty Wolf just like bunta he gives zero fucks LOL
I gotta say, the way they describe him just throwing all the data out and just driving, feels a lot like pre Project D Takumi as well.
Can i get a track listing for this?
The last song pleaaaaase ?!
i really wish this man would drive formula d.
x_SAIYA-JIN it isn't his style sadly. he would be the only hope of turning formula d into a drift event. right now it's just 1000hp powersliding.
14:31 dat Z tho
actual drifting
i love you dad
thats my dad
last song please ?
9:40 SOONG PLS!!!!!!!&??????
Oh The Larceny - Money
Brice Rogers cant find it
It's not on YT but you can find it on Spotify
Brice Rogers ok thank you
I've been getting grilled for years for saying formula D Isnt drift. it's powersliding.
bucketheadrox the only 2 people that are decent and have style imo are Forrest wang and MM
Myron Daniels I love forest Wang style. He's a good pillar of proper drift.

Wildchild_inc the guys I like don't really D1. I like watching the teams style drifts. It got way to power bound in D1 too your right.
7:52 what is this song?
kayjez - cant stop wont stop
can't find the song in free access, share the link please )
serch on YT and you can find it :)
man some of the audio recordings for the interview type scenes really ruined the video for me. terrible quality...
shut up
I'm all hot and bothered
Sickkkk
So the typical Japanese drifting style is based more on speed, not angle and smoke?
You don't get it
song from 17:00 till the end??
it's not much of a matsuri when it's for formula d drivers and teams.
lucky looks lighter at 22:18
