He’s also one of the safest workers in WWE, who is probably one of the most versatile as well. That man could genuinely work any gimmick. I think they should push him better, but if they don’t, I think he’d be an incredible fit for Impact
The story I heard about why Flair vs Hogan didn't happen at that Wrestlemania (or at all in WWF) was that Vince had them wrestle each other on the house show circuit and the matches didn't get the crowd reaction Vince was hoping they would get, so he cancelled the television feud leading to a pay per view match between them, and left a ton of money on the table by doing so.
I always thought that Raven’s “Seven Deadily Sins” was going to end up leading to Raven forming his own WWE version of the Flock. Maybe each member represented one of the sins.
Couldn't happen....it would work way too well.... this is because (the great) Raven isn't 7 feet tall and has way too good mic skills also extremely charismatic.... might take some of the focus off Vince..... just my opinion
Regal has completely denied falling off the wagon or being on PEDs at the time of this push and that he must have gotten a false positive or a mixup in his prescribed medication. I don't want to say I believe him 100%, but I do believe he didn't go back on pain meds after how bad it went for him in the 90s and how hard he worked to get clean.
#1 Hade Vansen: The dude was supposed to have his own cabal of X-Men mutants and was set to break the Undertaker's WrestleMania streak. Vince saw the 5'8" wrestler and instantly fired him. Hade Vansen never worked in the industry again.
Same can be said for Mordecai (Kevin Thorne). He was being built up as the anti Undertaker and for a feud against Taker, and then Vince saw how tall he was (6'4" which is much smaller than the Deadman) and cancelled it.
@@stevegallo8483Same reason Christopher Daniels wasn't the Higher Power. Vince was ready to run with it until he actually saw him and decided no one would believe that Taker would work for him.
He probably would've faced guys like Saturn, Taz, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Mike Awesome, and just about anyone else was involved in the storyline.
So there’s an alternate universe out there where the Rockers became tag team champs, Michael’s never put Jannetty through the window, and we never got HBK? I’m glad not to live in that reality. 😂
WWE fucked up so bad with Raven idk it’s a simple blueprint that worked in ECW, WCW, & TNA. Stick the twisted guy with great mic work and character with low card work horses that can be his followers/minions. Serotonin was a great group in TNA
I've never heard about Owen winning the belt before..add him to the list of greatest wrestlers to never win a World Title; Scott Hall, William Regal, Mr. Perfect, Owen Hart..theres a ton more..whatta shame...I would've loved to see a Regal World Title Run
Here's a fun fact I have belived for the last 20+ years thinking RVD & Jean Claude Van Dam were legit real life brothers I always assumed RVD spelled his name different so not to appear as if he was riding Jean's coattails HELL THEY EVEN LOOK DAMN NEAR IDENTICAL
Simon, I'm surprised you'd say Shawn Michaels superkicked Marty Jannetty thorugh the Barbershop window. He superkicked then threw Marty thorugh the window. I will concede however that it is a common Mandela effect.
I would have loved to seen a Regal push. Or a finly push. Or a Tazz push. Hell JBL had to go corporate before he got his push. I would have loved to seen an JBL APA push.
If he had he may still be here today, unbelieveble they couldnt come up with something other than the blue blazer, shaun at his best cause obv he didnt want to work with owen, story told itselfbut no vince and his hardo for shaun, lost us one of tge greatest ever in tge ring, one thing im glad of is shaun has changed so much which is good cause at one point i hated him 😢
Apparently if the rumours are to be true back in 2000/2001 Just Joe was going to win it all , royal rumble beat the rock at the wrestle mania and hold the WWE championship for at least 5 years but during the meeting with Vince he sneezed and Vince made him a jobber instead
Hart vs Hogan but Hogan was against any idea of this happening before it got anywhere... should have happened at KotR 1993 or Wrestlemania that year before Hogan left WWF the first time
I like Paul Heyman but I can't believe he gave Dean/Jon down the banks for his match with Brock being a bust. Brock may look the part but how many of his matches were classics because of what Brock did in the match?
2:05 We are ment to believe Dialectically While something Can and Cannot happen we can also be Upset that the change wasn't acknowledged but happy where the rockers ended
I've heard over the years though that a surprisingly large amount of people believe that the kick put Marty through the window. whatculture even showed the footage before in a video about misremembered moments
What is up with this presenters delivery, the guy switches his tone and volume every other sentence. Goes from being inaudible to peaking my speakers. Like I get it, it's his way of being snarky and "funny" but does he really have to whisper then go back to full volume the next word?
They absolutely should not have given chyna the world title. Shouldn't have given her the ic title either. No woman should ever hold the mens titles. If I have to explain how damaging that is to women's wrestling then your brain clearly is on standby mode because its really obvious
...Do you remember women's wrestling in the late 90s/early 00s? It was a joke, and Chyna did a lot to elevate women's wrestling as a serious spectacle, not some gimmick. There was not a serious women's belt at the time.
God bless, Simons annunciation of words kills me. Greeeed. Saaaaaay. Knooooooow. I’ve genuinely stopped watching what culture because of it. Just speak normal.
Giving Regal the world title is not an awesome idea. He's a good worker can't deny that but the guy NEVER drew a dime. Just cause he's from the same country as you doesn't make it a good idea. I'm Canadian so should I think Jinder was an awesome world champ?
Huh it's almost like WWE doesn't know what they're doing and only makes it off getting it right every now and then and fan nostalgia. That's why I don't watch that second rate sports entertainment crap. Wrestling is what I'll go with. Not Roman winning for 100th time in a boring match where he does the same 5 moves because he's new age John Cena. Only difference is Roman only wishes he could be as good as Cena was.
Corbin retired Kurt and was last guy to pin Roman ..but now he's a lower card jobber......
The first I thought you were trying to make a Kurt Cobain joke for some reason, I had to do a double-take before I realized you said Corbin. 😭🤣
He’s also one of the safest workers in WWE, who is probably one of the most versatile as well. That man could genuinely work any gimmick. I think they should push him better, but if they don’t, I think he’d be an incredible fit for Impact
Corbin didn't retire kurt. Kurt put him over in his last match at Mania 35.
To be fair he should have never done either of those things
Corbin also used to date Maria Brink, and that's better than anything he could do in WWE
Hulk vs Flair at WrestleMania XIII by far the Biggest Miss of WWE History. I Still Feel Sting vs Undertaker Should've Happen as Well Damn It !!
100% agreed.
Sting versus Angle not at Mania but in TNA. They had good matches butva few years earlier in WWE 2003. Golden Up
I always thought that Raven’s “Seven Deadily Sins” was going to end up leading to Raven forming his own WWE version of the Flock.
Maybe each member represented one of the sins.
I would've liked to see that. Since you put it out there what wrestlers and sins would you associated them with
Couldn't happen....it would work way too well.... this is because (the great) Raven isn't 7 feet tall and has way too good mic skills also extremely charismatic.... might take some of the focus off Vince..... just my opinion
Owen was so damn good. Such a shame. That Summerslam cage match is top 3 all time for sure
According to interviews the reason why Hogan/Flair at Wrestlemania never happened was because when they put it on at house shows it didn't draw.
Keeping Vince away from WWE 😆
If Flair vs Hogan happened we never would have gotten Papa Shango missing his cue. Its the little things.
Bruh a hardcore match between Foley and Ambrose in the ruthless aggression era 😋 let the blood flow

Regal deserved a world title run.
I've wondered for years what role Triple H would have played in the 2001 invasion angle.
I would believe he would have pin stone cold in survivor series
He probably would've faced guys like Saturn, Taz, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Mike Awesome, and just about anyone else was involved in the storyline.
So there’s an alternate universe out there where the Rockers became tag team champs, Michael’s never put Jannetty through the window, and we never got HBK? I’m glad not to live in that reality. 😂
Seems like a better one with a lot less super kicks and spot monkeys
True
Eddie as WHC in 05 and Benoit as ECW champ in 07
WWE fucked up so bad with Raven idk it’s a simple blueprint that worked in ECW, WCW, & TNA. Stick the twisted guy with great mic work and character with low card work horses that can be his followers/minions. Serotonin was a great group in TNA

Not to mention Ted Dibiase in 88.
I remember when Marty Janetty dove through the Barbershop window.
Tryin to escape, the coward
Here's a fun fact I have belived for the last 20+ years thinking RVD & Jean Claude Van Dam were legit real life brothers I always assumed RVD spelled his name different so not to appear as if he was riding Jean's coattails HELL THEY EVEN LOOK DAMN NEAR IDENTICAL
thats actually where he got the name, someone said he looked like him and he ran with it
Simon, I'm surprised you'd say Shawn Michaels superkicked Marty Jannetty thorugh the Barbershop window. He superkicked then threw Marty thorugh the window. I will concede however that it is a common Mandela effect.
Why are you lying, mate? Shawn didn't throw Jannetty through the window. Marty tried to escape after he got superkicked. 😋😙
One love ❤
@@boyankovachev7982 actually marty was terribly concussed from the super kick and in his confusion jumped through the window
Marty jumped. We all know this
But, no matter how Marty went through the glass, it was AFTER the kick
No it’s not a common mandela effect. it’s common knowledge he threw him through the window after the super kick. people are dumb AF
The thumbnail scared me for a moment 😂😂
Me too lol
1:57 you said "before Janetty tried to jump through the window to escape" wrong
I think he's referencing Heenan on commentary there.
Can you imagine a match between The Rockers and The Hardy Boyz in their primes? 😮
Rockers vs rock and roll express
RVD was always losing to Edge, the bust only moved it forward two weeks from SNME July 15 to Raw July 3rd 2006...
I wish dustin rhodes did the seven gimmick 😂
Steve Regal deserves to win that wwe championship belt. Steve Regal is a great wrestler an he can wrestl anyone out there back in his time.
I would have loved to seen a Regal push. Or a finly push. Or a Tazz push. Hell JBL had to go corporate before he got his push. I would have loved to seen an JBL APA push.
Do we think the rockers ghost reign is what sparked HBKs distain for Bret ? Can source the screwjob back all that way like? 😂
Almost everything that was good in more than five years, More and more often I find I am watching just to find out when to record the PLE.
I know that the one on the thumbnail is William regal but kinda looked like charlie Sheen LOL. Charlie sheen wwe champion
It does look like Sheen a little bit 😂
After his hair transplant surgery. His Charlie Sheen/Hugh Grant look...
There was also going to be a love triangle between Owen Hart, Debra, and Jeff Jarrett, but Owen vetoed that idea.
If he had he may still be here today, unbelieveble they couldnt come up with something other than the blue blazer, shaun at his best cause obv he didnt want to work with owen, story told itselfbut no vince and his hardo for shaun, lost us one of tge greatest ever in tge ring, one thing im glad of is shaun has changed so much which is good cause at one point i hated him 😢
And unfortunately Owen paid with his life.

Every one of Dean Ambrose's ideas for his WrestleMania match with Brock Lesnar.
I like Paul Heyman but I can't believe he gave Dean/Jon down the banks for his match with Brock being a bust. Brock may look the part but how many of his matches were classics because of what Brock did in the match?
I use to love regal when he was raw gm and won kotr

We are ment to believe Dialectically
While something Can and Cannot happen we can also be Upset that the change wasn't acknowledged but happy where the rockers ended
Gdamn Huckster f’d up sooooo much of the great potential storylines because his giant sized ego couldn’t see 3 months down the road…
Why do people think Shawn super kicked Marty through the window. It was literally two separate things, not nearly as cool as people remember
I've heard over the years though that a surprisingly large amount of people believe that the kick put Marty through the window. whatculture even showed the footage before in a video about misremembered moments
The return of the new nation of domination becoming the new day instead
For a quick second looking at this video title, I ACTUALLY thought that William Regal passed away! 😮
What if Chyna won the title and married Shane or Stephanie while HHH was fired and never had the run or McMahon Hensley error....😮
Vince actually leaving 🤷🏻♂️
Wait what’s the second chapter of this video called?
The Rockers were AWA World Tag Team Champs.
Another Simon today, give it a thumbs up
What happened to Retro ups and Downs??
H and Steph *were* together then, but not married until 2003. I think Hunter was still with Chyna *officially*...😬😬
Flair vs Hogan… how much did egos play a part?
I like these videos but sometimes you speak too quietly
Sting vs. Taker
Damn shame about William Regal
I'm gonna call it roman loses the belt to ko at summerslam and bloodline is no more
Kurt henning wasn't good he was perfect
Jim Ross disagrees. Chyna was never considered to be champion
"Any story Hunter killed because he wanted to"
Since HHH knew he cheated on Chyna with Stephanie so his little butt didn't want the same thing happening to him
Eff that company!
I love the videos but the narration is weirddddd. Why does he have to slow down at the end of every 2nd sentenceeee? It's quite annoyinggggg
Thank For The Video 🙊🤯😃😍👍🥰
Jesus lads, thumbnail scared the shit out of me for a split second 😂
Raven was never a main eventer!
So many mess up their own future!
