Greetings, Pete. I was fortunate enough to pass the CISSP in Dec '22, mostly due to overdosing on your videos and trying to "think like a manager." I completely BOMBED the CCSP last week. Is the CCSP another "think like a manager" exam or should I have more of a technician mindset? My guess is manager, but I'm not sure. Thanks for all you do!
Studied 3 and a half months everyday, 4+ hours and used these cram videos the last two weeks on top of scoring in the 70's on practice tests (over a 1000 questions) and still failed. This is the first exam I don't know how to study for after putting in so much effort. Out of the 175, about 10-15 had me like no clue and I wasn't intimidated. I didn't even see 30% of what I studied from ALL sources (Osg, learnzapp, youtube videos, thor udemy, kelly handerhan). Legit no quantitative risk formulas, models, viruses, or anything. I just don't know what to do to pass this and am scared on taking it again because I don't know how to progress. These videos did help though, I just wish I would've had the chance to apply what I learned 🤷
I do cover quantitative risk analysis formulas mentioned as in scope in the official study guide in my Domain 3 video. Since the exam is a multiple choice, CSP-agnostic exam, I’ve been interlacing some brief real world demos to give folks and contextual knowledge where they don’t have experience. I can only imagine it’s very difficult for someone to take this exam without having been exposed to these features and capabilities in at least one cloud platform.

I mean we both know that there is always some uncertainty when taking one of these, but I have taken some useless prep classes for the CCSP but this. is and I am also a certified trainer premium content, wow, really amazing job.

Domain 6 is published and waiting for you. The 50 unscored questions could come anywhere in the exam. You won’t know which are scored and which are not. Let me know how exam day goes!

There’s some overlap, but they’re different exams. There are three books you’re supposed to use to study for CCSK and most or all are free. I just don’t get enough request for that certification to build a course for it.
IS there a way we can test our domain 1 knowledge in and out via some tests or quiz ? may not be the same as isc2 ccsp level but atleast to some extent ?

There is some element of mindset, which I cover in context throughout this series. A lot of understanding risks and responsibilities.

Yes. CCSP exam was updated in August 2022 by ISC2. This content aligns to that exam you might want to look at my consolidated full course video

Your best bet for good domain-specific practice tests I am aware of is PocketPrep. Allows you to filter by domain and is pretty affordable.
