David reflects goodness, and I think his "family's" experience with the government has left a few scares on his heart that he is working through. Good morning @godsoffspring4195 ... So glad you made the effort to watch and more especially to take a moment or two to share a kindly comment. We all know some things about the native Americans and their "Trail of Tears" and what the colonial powers did to them in stealing their lands, etc. I cannot judge folks like Chief David Midegah because he has reason to be bitter, yet he is working hard to bring people together by educating us. I find him to be a fascinating man. I know very little about the ISPP (Indian Student Placement Program).
The ISPP became an official Church program in 1954. Missionaries and local Church leaders encouraged Native youths to participate, while local priesthood leaders recruited host families. The ISPP operated under the Relief Society’s licensed social services department. Case workers ensured that Native applicants were at least eight years old, in good health, able to participate in school, and baptized members of the Church. Case workers also ascertained that host families met legal requirements to be foster parents and, working with local priesthood leaders, confirmed that they were Church members in good standing. Although many of the initial participants were Navajo children and were placed in Utah homes, as the program expanded in the 1960s, Native American students from many tribal nations throughout the United States and Canada were placed in Latter-day Saint homes throughout the North American West.7 Aside from attending school, participants often engaged in extracurricular, church, and other social activities intended to enrich their experience in the program. To support the ISPP, the Church operated the Indian Seminary Program for religious instruction.
The ISPP produced mixed results. According to a 1981 study, many participants thrived, graduating high school and attending college at higher rates than Natives who did not participate in the program, given the poor educational alternatives. Many ISPP graduates studied at Brigham Young University, which operated one of the largest Native American education programs in the United States in the 1970s. Following graduation, many participants maintained a high degree of commitment to the Church, participating in their congregation, paying tithing, adhering to the Word of Wisdom, and marrying in the temple. Other participants, however, found adapting to the ISPP’s racial and integrationist assumptions difficult. Although the program encouraged participants to maintain regular contact with their families and to return home during the summers, many found the program’s privileging of Western values separated them from their Native family and culture.

He speaks the truth - we have so much more in common than we have 0:07 differences. Let’s be kind. Let the Native American people speak and share the truth that they have. I know there is a website where we can donate or volunteer to help the native Americans come out of their poverty and reach the potential that God meant for them to. Could you please publish that? Thank you again and thank you, my brother chief Medigah. (I wish I had a name that reminded me to be kind every time it was spoken! )

This is the most informative interview with Chief Midegah that I have heard since maybe the first and second I watched. I took notes! I loved learning about the origin migrations of the different language families. It was this type of thing I was looking for in my elementary school history class way back when, but of course they didn't know any of this. I felt Brother Martin Braden provided a very good welcoming spirit and asked good questions, and Chief Midegah was very accommodating and lived up to his name. I wish him and his people well, our brothers and sisters, and hope this is the beginning of good things to come for all.

David... I've posted a reply to you on Greg Madsen's channel that is hid up in 3 or 400 comments that I'd like to maybe share with you here. Readers may not know exactly what I'm talking about but you will. :>)
You really got me with the bull moose, bro!! I too have spent ten hours a day out in nature for 30 years. Sometimes weeks at a time. It became my work, my love and my temple closet to the Lord, at the time. The Holy Spirit followed me and kept me safe and I knew it. I so miss it now.
Like you, I befriended a wild marten once and within a week, the little guy was walking all over me and having tug o wars with food I held tight in the front pouch of my Indian sweater by making a fat belly. LOL
He would come and find me every day for about 3 weeks until I finally left the area as I was doing work in the area.
He was no moose(thank goodness) but our stories parallel there.

Also from a broken family moving from place to place as a child and once seeing three schools in one year and fighting like a warrior, to discovering peace, order and beauty even on stormy days in uncorrupt wilderness where I felt closest to God.
I've travelled that same path. But you've developed a much bigger heart than I on your journeys.... I still kill every blood sucking mosquito that's not smarter or quicker than me!! 😆

So heres what I know about this situation. I know that the Navajo have Knowledge, Customs, and Symbols that I have only Found in Temples, or Latterday Saint teachings, and have seen the evidences myself reviewing the channel Navajo Traditional Teachings.. And I'm listening to what Brother Midegah is saying, and that his insights have also added to my Understanding drawing connections I never had supposed because he clearly knows more about these things then I do, and can connect a History to share with us that feels right too me, and makes alot of Sense.
But I also know that we live in Turbulent times, and there is a plethora of efforts by Foreign Powers who make the Colonists in his Forefathers time seem like Saint, and would try, and do to this Nation what was done to the peoples of Siberia, and in America, and I suspect would even clandestinely try, and manipulate various Factions as they see it to Dominate their Adversaries which is us without ever firing a Shot. That Said I believe Chief Midegah has a Sincere Heart when he speaks, and that perhaps my paranoia is simply a Function of my Broken Nature as a Human Being who never really Fostered a meaningful Connection with anyone in my Life save it be Jesus Christ, and even then I fail to be Kind, Loving, and Forgiving. I strive not to be Cruel, but I just cant help but see the Potential for Trickery everywhere I Turn, and to that End I can say that it was gained by Sad Experience.
I appreciate that Chief Midegah, and those who are seeking to Gather up this Knowledge don't need us to validate their claims, but are endeavoring to prepare for the 7th Fire, and have extended an Invitation too us.
To be Honest the only thing I needed to know the Book of Mormon was True, was the Holy Ghost surging through my Body everything else is Secondary, but none the Less I did recently participate in a Missionary Discussion and these Evangelical Protestants were trying to Save the Elder's from Burning in Hell, and they were asking about evidence regarding Jesus coming too this Continent, and I pulled up a Picture of the The Speaker of Peace with his 12 Feathers on His Head, as Taught by the Navajo, and told them that he called 12 Men for which those Feathers on his head represent, and I showed them His Crimson Garment, and His White Robe...
The Entire Conversation shifted from Criticism of our beliefs, too a sense of Uncertainty how to pursue their narrative, and then from that I said too them that we as Followers of Jesus Christ Need to Be One, and its hard to be One with people who think they know everything.
I often have to remember that I was a Spirit that entered into this Body, my Gender is Eternal, and my Understanding of Mortality has been formed by my Experiences on this Earth, and the actions of those who came before me.
Thank You Brother Midegah for sharing this Knowledge with us.

Good morning @ErC-oj6rc ... First of all, let me express my appreciation for you taking time to watch my video with David, and more especially for taking the time to share your insight. Well done! You are correct in saying that we need to be aware and have our eyes wide open for Satan's deceptions, especially at this time in this Dispensation. I continually pray for the gift of Discernment and hold fast to the Gift of the Holy Ghost so that, like you expressed @ErC-oj6rc, I can feel the "Rightness" and sincerity of his words and the spirit David projects. After several hours of speaking with David I felt him to be authentic and felt his kindness and goodness. We all have a front row seat to witness what is happening now and what is going to come. I titled this episode "Another Witness" that shows the Book of Mormon is True because the "teachings" Chief Midegah has shared and the Navajo, and so many more, can all be wrong. They all have hundreds of parallels to the teachings of the Book of Mormon and those taught in our Modern Temples. temples go back to Adam's time. it is God's Oral teaching of how we return back to His presence and all of this affirms the Book of Mormon is true. the testimony of the Holy Ghost of its truthfulness, as you said, is first and foremost in my heart, but these "witnesses" and "evidence" back The Spirits Testation up. It's all wonderful. Thanks again and God bless.

@@MLBPublishing2023 I was talking to a Friend today, and told him about Chief Middegah baring his Testimony that Joseph Smith was a Prophet. He didn't seem particularly phased. Its easier for him to believe Chief Middegah when he says Joseph Smith is a Prophet, and the Book of Mormon is True then it is be part of our Church, and part of this is because of some Members Bad Examples in his Life. He told me hes going to listen to what Brother Midegah has to say which I find very curious how David is capable of opening Doors by his Speaking, that we simply cannot Brother Braden.

Good afternoon Matthew ... Thanks so much for taking time to watch and leave your comment. You are correct when you say "He speaks with authority". If I had him answer the other 78 questions I had for him you would learn quite a great deal about why you sense he speaks with authority. As I said in the video and in the description for this video, David's people were the Mulekites. His stories about the "Lodge" and the "Door to the Lodge" and the "Purification and teaching Lodge" etc., has so many parallels to today's LDS Temple ceremony/Endowment that it would blow your mind. If I too the time to have him share all of that it would be an eight hour video or a series of 4 two hour videos.
I should say that there is much to be cautious about and to "watch" with wide-eyes because we, as basic member's, do not know what the "return of the Tribes" will look like, nor do we know exactly how we as the Lord's Church will help lift His chosen people, even the Remnant" that will return in these last days. But, I am certainly willing to pray that if David and his "brothers in the faith" are going to be a "part" of this return and special gathering, as the Three "Light Bearers" prophesied to his forbears, that we will be taught by our prophets what we can do. Let him who has eyes to see and hear to see and hear the Lord's voice in all of this.
If what Chief David says is true and he has truly had the call fall upon him as he has said, then God will make things happen here a little and there a little, line upon line and will prove him out. If he isn't, then we will see that fulfilled as well. It's an exciting time we are in brother. God bless.

I am intrigued by the petrified tooth!
When i was about 18 years old, (1982), I was horseback riding near my home in Graham, Washington, when I came across a strange looking rock sitting on top of a mole hill. I got off of my horse to retrieve it.
It was about the same size as the one Chief showed us.
My rock is brownish blonde and shiny. It looks like a molar tooth, the size of a fist. It looks like someone may have tried to use a chip of it for an arrowhead. I still have it. I showed it to my science teacher at my high school at the time and he told me that it was agotized bone and was about 1 million years old, or, had been through a glacial event.
I just wanted to share this with you.

My question is: What would the bringing of the two sticks together look like?
Are there to be two Priesthoods? Tho the Book of Mormon talks about the 12 Nephites that received authority, Jesus didn't call them apostles and he said the house of Israel will be judged by the 12 apostles (of Judah in my understanding).
So I never saw this paradigm as keys given to the tribe of Judah and keys given to the tribe of Joseph, but rather 1 set of keys held by 12 apostles of Judah that Peter, James, and John, restored unto Joseph Smith, under which keys all priesthood holders are to operate.
I know that some things like the white shirt and the tie are simply policies that come from culture and other things, but the gospel is faith, repentance, making covenants by proper priesthood authority, and letting the holy ghost guide us in all things till the end. Would we be able to unite on this fundamental thing?
Chied Midegah says that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints need to show some respect and recognize that Native Americans are fed from the same water in all things, including authority and we should not expect them to come be baptized or receive from us things that they already have. I respect that. But I'd like to have a clear picture of how he sees the two sticks getting together. Is it two holy nations united under one God, or one holy nation united under one prophet and one God? Or any other alternative?

      Good morning
Lesly F. Vévé ... Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and more especially for taking to to share your comments with all of us. I appreciate your question Lesly. Let me clear up one point for us and then maybe try to answer the other question you have.
First of all, let's read what the Book of Mormon actually said about the Twelve Nephite Disciples the Lamb ordained, as well as what a prophet in this dispensation said about them (There are additional quotes from other prophets saying the same thing). Pay particular attention to verse 10:
"In 1 Nephi 12 verses 6 through 10 it says:
6 And I saw the heavens open, and the Lamb of God descending out of heaven; and he came down and showed himself unto them.
7 And I also saw and bear record that the Holy Ghost fell upon twelve others; and they were ordained of God, and chosen.
8 And the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold the twelve disciples of the Lamb, who are chosen to minister unto thy seed.
9 And he said unto me: Thou rememberest the twelve apostles of the Lamb? Behold they are they who shall judge the twelve tribes of Israel; wherefore, the twelve ministers of thy seed shall be judged of them; for ye are of the house of Israel.
10 And these twelve ministers whom thou beholdest shall judge thy seed. And, behold, they are righteous forever; for because of their faith in the Lamb of God their garments are made white in his blood.
As we can see, these twelve "Nephite" disciples had the priesthood for sure, and, because they also had the authority to "judge their own seed" as judges in literal 'Israel', for they were a "branch" of the literal House of Israel here in the America's, I think this indicates a special office like the apostles from Jesus' time. I also would like to share what President Joseph Fielding Smith said about whether or not they were considered Apostles, and I quote:
President Joseph Fielding Smith (1876-1972) specifically identified Nephite disciples as apostles where he said quote: “While in every instance the Nephite Twelve are spoken of as disciples, the fact remains that they had been endowed with divine authority to be special witnesses for Christ among their own people. Therefore, they were virtually apostles to the Nephite race” (Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation, comp. Bruce R. McConkie [1956], 3:158; see also Mormon 9:18).
No regarding how the "bringing of these two sticks together as one in our hand" will look like, I can only speculate for the scriptures do not define this return in such specific terms. Yes, the Bible (The Stick of Judah) and the Book of Mormon (The Stick of Ephraim), as well as the third 'book' (The Stick of the lost Ten tribes) as the third witness of Jesus Christ, and probably others (The other tribes of the Seven Tribes of ancient America and each of the remaining Ten Tribes that were scattered across the globe), all of these have been prophesied as coming into the light of the Gospel.
We know that they won't be in their perfection. Over the centuries I am sure that their peoples have dwindled in unbelief but their records were protected by a few prophets over the centuries. How they will look and be gathered in from the "north Countries" one can only imagine. what we do know however is that they will in fact "return".
D&C 133:26-34. What Do the Saints Know about the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel?
      Elder Bruce R. McConkie wrote:
“When Shalmanezer overran the Kingdom of Israel (about 721 B.C.), he carried the Ten Tribes comprising that kingdom captive into Assyria. From thence they were led into the lands of the north and have been called the Lost Tribes because they are lost to the knowledge of other people. (1 Ne. 22:4.) ‘We have no knowledge of the location or condition of that part of the Ten Tribes who went into the north country.’ (Compendium. p. 88.)
“Esdras, an apocryphal writer, records this version of their escape from Assyria: ‘Those are the ten tribes, which were carried away prisoners out of their own land in the time of Osea the king, whom Salmanasar the king of Assyria led away captive, and he carried them over the waters, and so came they into another land. But they took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt, That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land. And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow passage of the river. For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over. For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth. Then dwelt they there until the latter times; and now when they shall begin to come, The Highest shall stay the stream again, that they may go through.’ (Apocrypha, 2 Esdras 13:40-47.)
“Commenting on this, Elder George Reynolds has written: …
“‘Is it altogether improbable that in that long journey of one and a half years, as Esdras states it, from Media the land of their captivity to the frozen north, some of the backsliding Israel rebelled, turned aside from the main body, forgot their God, by and by mingled with the Gentiles and became the leaven to leaven with the promised seed all the nations of the earth? The account given in the Book of Mormon of a single family of this same house, its waywardness, its stiffneckedness before God, its internal quarrels and family feuds are, we fear, an example on a small scale of what most probably happened in the vast bodies of Israelites who for so many months wended their tedious way northward. …’ (Are We of Israel, pp. 10-11.)
“The Lost Tribes are not lost unto the Lord. In their northward journeyings they were led by prophets and inspired leaders. They had their Moses and their Lehi, were guided by the spirit of revelation, kept the law of Moses, and carried with them the statutes and judgments which the Lord had given them in ages past. They were still a distinct people many hundreds of years later, for the resurrected Lord visited and ministered among them following his ministry on this continent among the Nephites. (3 Ne. 16:1-4; 17:4.) Obviously he taught them in the same way and gave them the same truths which he gave his followers in Jerusalem and on the American continent; and obviously they recorded his teachings, thus creating volumes of scripture comparable to the Bible and Book of Mormon. (2 Ne. 29:12-14.)
“In due course the Lost Tribes of Israel will return and come to the children of Ephraim to receive their blessings. This great gathering will take place under the direction of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for he holds the keys. … Keys are the right of presidency, the power to direct; and by this power the Lost Tribes will return, with ‘their prophets’ and their scriptures to ‘be crowned with glory, even in Zion, by the hands of the servants of the Lord, even the children of Ephraim.’ (D. & C. 133:26-35.)
“At the October, 1916, general conference of the Church, Elder James E. Talmage made this prediction: ‘The tribes shall come; they are not lost unto the Lord; they shall be brought forth as hath been predicted; and I say unto you there are those now living-aye, some here present-who shall live to read the records of the Lost Tribes of Israel, which shall be made one with the record of the Jews, or the Holy Bible, and the record of the Nephites, or the Book of Mormon, even as the Lord hath predicted; and those records, which the tribes lost to man but yet to be found again shall bring, shall tell of the visit of the resurrected Christ to them, after he had manifested himself to the Nephites upon this continent.’ (Articles of Faith, p. 513.)” (Mormon Doctrine, pp. 455-58.)
For a discussion of the role of John the Beloved with the ten lost tribes, see Notes and Commentary for Doctrine and Covenants 7:3-6.

Hi again@@leslyveve9262 ... I couldn't have said it any better than you just laid it out. It's wonderful. Just like all of Christendom today, Chief David Midegah represents a generation of descendants, even a remnant of his forefathers, and these generations are much like all of the generations that have passed, from the time of the original Christians of Christ's day and the Church He established back 2000 plus years ago. It was through the process of apostasy that each generation dwindled in unbelief, just as the prophets of the Book of Mormon said of their descendants. And so, I suppose that the generation that comes forth in this, the last dispensation, even a remnant of the House of Israel, a Branch of the Tree of the Tribe of Joseph, (All all of the lost ten tribes) will have also dwindled in unbelief, yet each of them will have much of the truths their forefathers were taught, even a record of the "Peacemakers" visit to them, and it is that "remnant" that prophets will take upon their shoulders, so-to-speak, as will as all the members who remain true to these things, ... and we will love them and help them stand in the "fulness" of the gospel together. It is going to be a marvelous work and a wonder as we see these prophecies being fulfilled. What a glorious time we live in Lesly. Nephi truly saw around the corner and spoke of our time for he saw "us" living in "the Hastening" just before the 2nd coming of the Lord. thanks again, and God bless.

    Love learning from you, Chief!
I was praying for further light and knowledge about my ancestors, the Munsee. The definitions i was told was that Munsee means people of the stony land. They were also keepers of records of the wallum olum. (The red record).
My mom always thought that she was a descendant of Sam (Nephi's brother). I was told by a friend that I might be a descendant of the stripling warriors, too.
My personal feelings, i have thought to be from Mulek. I am sure that i am a mix of all of them. We are all eventually related by going back to Adam and Eve. 😊
I am also a descendant of Pocahontas.
I have always felt like the whole continent had highways and well established roads and paths.
Hot air balloons could have been used.
There is so much more that i can see that others haven't yet opened their eyes.
The roads were broken up before and during the 3 days of darkness.
I have to ask... did the earth flip at that time or long before?
    I want to learn more.

@Pokeplayer406 ... That's so true. The restoration continues from the Church's beginnings in 1803 and has continued through to today, 2024, and will continue until all things are restored (that probably includes until all of us are restored from the Fall and are the "complete" beings God created us to be?). God bless.

    Marty,
Love your great channel, as always. I was excited to see Chief David Midigah on it. Nice.
He has lately been all over the TH-cam channels I watch. This was the most interesting of his recent appearances. I think I've seen most of them. I truly enjoy David's interesting perspective. The discussion about the families/tribes being united by common languages, and the ties between groups of the tribes is fascinating.
Still, I'm reserving opinion about what he declares because I'm not sure about everything he says or at least how he says it.
No, the LDS don't think the Book of Mormon is all. It is a tiny (but very important) hundredth part of the truth yet to be revealed. I pray that we are taking the Book of Mormon seriously enough that we can now receive further word of God. I hope hope hope what David says about this word to come forth from different tribe families will be direct fulfillment of that. Plus more records from all of the scattered lost tribes. I can't wait.

Good morning John ... Great to hear from you again. How you doing my friend? Thanks for watching and then taking the time to share kind and uplifting comments. I too am praying for the day we, as a Church, receive the further light and knowledge God has promised, and in particular the return of the Lost ten tribes and their records that will be the "third" witness of the divinity of Jesus Christ, thus completing the law of testimony which Jesus defines as "Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established"!
As I said in my video, I hope these things are true. I know that the Lord is in charge of everything that is and will happen during these winding down days of this, the Last Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. I have every faith that if He wants to help Chief David and his people be raised out of poverty and be given the lad of the inheritance back to them, for it truly was taken from them through lies and deceit, then that will happen. I also believe, as Elder Holland alluded to recently, that there is the 99 parts that are yet to be revealed and that is going to be a glorious day. God bless you John.

Just a small observation: the Nephite 12 weren't apostles. They were disciples. They didn't possess the keys of presidency like Peter, James and John. They did possess authority over the Lehites, but we're subordinate to the Apostles. The Book of Mormon clearly teaches that, at the last day, they will be judged, or under the authority, of the Apostles. In other words, the keys of the Melchizedek Priesthood, of gathering Israel and of administering the Kingdom of God, which are held by President Nelson, supercede the authority of the Nephites, including the 3 Nephites. Even John the Beloved, who is a translated being, confered his keys on Joseph Smith.
Other than that, I am excited about Chief Midegah and his information.

Id like to hear more from David about how he accepts his brother/sister with the teachings of having to have a male and female and a family. I'm not with being unkind or unloviing to transgender persons. But i also agree with the church on the proclamation on the family very strongly. I know I'm probably doing the judging thing and i dunt want to but probably am. To me this is the most controversial things he is saying and he does bring it up in every interview about his transgendared brother. Thoughts? Ideas? Id especially like to hear from David but dunt think he'll probably answer this. I dunt want to be judgemental on this issue but realize
    i probably am.

I know David has a very busy schedule as he is preparing to come to Utah for a conference where he is one of the guests there in Spanish Fork, but I will keep you informed if and when this happens.
As far as his views on his sibling and all of that, I haven't asked him directly and so I am not in a position to speak for him or give any impressions on his personal view or perspective on this topic. I do know this, he is a "family" person, that's for sure. I have a granddaughter who is approaching 18 years old and she has declared herself to be Trans (She currently identifies herself as a male), and I still love her dearly. We have a wonderful relationship and because her (Him) and I (Me) have talked about this at length she knows that I choose not to call her 'him' or 'he', and she allows me that privilege to follow my perspectives and belief's. She knows I am not judgmental of her. It is her choice, her life's journey that she is living, and, as I said, I love her unconditionally. I'll keep you posted.

Hi @@Pay-It_Forward. Great to hear from you again. As you well know, there's the scientific principle or law called "Quantum Entanglement" which says that this kind of physics predicts that particles can become entangled. This suggests that two or more particles can be brought together and become fundamentally linked so that even when they're separated, even by great distances, it's no longer possible to describe them independently of each other. Such is the nature of a Resurrected Being like The father and the Son are. Of course we don't know or understand exactly what the full nature of such glorified, eternal, glorious beings are made of and how they can, even through thought, be somewhere billions of miles away, but I do feel it is along this path of thought. Man didn't even know the words of Atom or particles or Quantum Entanglement". I just know that there are realms we don't understand or see with our natural eyes, and there are principles we have not yet learned, just like science has come to mankind here a little and there a little.
Oh ... And I almost forgot to mention that "Google's Big Mind" somehow is able to receive over ten billion inquiries instantaneously and send out its answer in a Nano-second all across the globe of thousands of miles. I suspect the intelligence of God knows how to have thoughts travel across the universe in a nan-second too, but that would be hard to prove with science's limited knowledge base at this time. I don't think he comes from Ishmael, Esau, Midian.

So what branches does he come from?
    He's not being straight forward.

As a former Evangelical Christian Pastor, i was taught and trained to hate the Mormons for teaching weird and unbiblical teachings. I was taught that they are not Christians and they doctrine is from the devil. One day, while reading the New testament, i came across this verse in the Bible " Matthew 7 :: NIV. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" I told myself, I am a Pastor, why would i judge this Mormons as devil, when i haven't pray to God about their doctrine. I will use all my energy and all the knowledge in the Bible, and i will pray to the God of the Bible, if The Book of Mormon is from devil. I began to plead with God, begging Him to please answers my prayers because if will judge the Mormons to be of the devil, and found out that i was wrong, the same judgment will fall unto me. The answer is now a history. I testify that Jesus Christ lives, and by the power of the Holy Ghost, i know the Book of Mormon testify of the divinity of Jesus Christ that He was the God of Israel. By reading the Book of Mormon, a person will get closer to Jesus Christ by keeping His commandments through loving our neighbors and serving with no expect in return. I am now serving in the Church of Jesus Christ, voluntarily with no paid ministry or paid clergy. Its all donated labor voluntary services, unlike when i was a Pastor, we get paid and have salary. I testify that the Prophet Joseph Smith is called of God and was a Prophet. I sustain the living Prophet today who hold the keys of the Priesthood, and that is President Russell M Nelson. Im grateful for my upbringing as Evangelical Pastor, for if not so, i will not be a Latter Day Saint today and known the glorious restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I too was lost & against the Church for 20yrs. I’m a witness to the power of the Book of Mormon. I was so full of hate & about ended someone’s life. I hated how I felt & if there was a God I needed him now. I took a dusty BoM off the shelf & got on my knees. I was blaming God how I felt & wanted it removed.
I opened my eyes & there before me the BoM was opened. 3rd Nephi 11:29-30 was highlighted.
29 For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another.
30 Behold, this is not my doctrine, to stir up the hearts of men with anger, one against another; but this is my doctrine, that such things should be done away.
It was if the Lord was speaking to me & when I read the last word away the Lord removed all my hatred that was bottled up in me for 35yrs.
I went back to Church & I was being blessed beyond measure.
I know the BoM is true & confirm it with this testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Good afternoon Alejandro ... As I have said, I allow all men the privilege of worshiping or not worshipping who, where, and how they choose. There is not enough space here in this comment section to give you a complete response to your comments. What I will say though, is that you misunderstand or have been misguided by your pastors as to what we, as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believe about God. First of all, our religion is not "based" on the Bible alone. It is "based" on "continuing" revelation that God has always given since the day He revealed His Plan of Happiness to Adam and Eve, the first parents to ever walk this earth.
Secondly, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, as well as the ancient writings of David Midegah's ancestors ... testify that we are Gods' Children, even heirs of God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. They teach that we are to partake of the Divine Nature, and reconcile our will's to His will. There are multiple times where God's word, the Bible, testifies that we are the "Offspring" of the Father and are to partake of His Divine Nature of God by keeping His commandments:
      1 Peter 1:1-2
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
      5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
      6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
All of these are Christ's divine attributes that we are to develop in ourselves so that, like the Bible says, we become "like" Him. As I said, there are many many verses that declare this truth. There is the Father (One God), then there is His Son, Jehovah, who was made flesh and called Jesus (The 2nd God), and then there is The Holy Ghost (The 3rd God). When you add them up they form a Heavenly First Presidency called the Godhead. So yes, we believe in these three God's, but there is only One God who we worship as "The" God, who is our Father in Heaven. We do disagree on the Nature of these Gods Alejandro, and that's okay. We don't have to be unkind to each other simply because we have differing beliefs my friend. You believe they are three persons (Numerically), that are one being, and we believe they are three separate and distinct beings numerically, with the Father of Jehovah (Jesus the Christ), being the one God we worship in Jesus' name.
I allow you the privilege to worship the God you believe in and you should allow me the same privilege of worshiping the Godhead I believe in without resorting to name calling. I would never call you or your religious leaders "Conmen" or degrade another's belief, no matter how different than mine. Christ would not treat his neighbor in this way. I forgive you for we are all fallen and have come short of the Nature and glory of God, even the "divine" that's within us in embryo, for we truly are His children and should be better than we are, but that's the reason we have Jesus and his Atonement so that we can be forgiven if we meet the conditions of repentance. If I have offended you in any way please forgive me. God bless.
