Im working on this kit now... 2nd one I've done. Only thing i can say is, it does test your painting skills to highlight the exhaust...
Engine, by far the best part of the kit.... i think the interior sucks, as well

Yes, one of the original Monogram kits. Love the car ,not crazy about the kit. No shock towers, no firewall detail except booster and master cylinder. Gonna try adapting some of these details from other kits on mine.

Its a repop of an older mold, actually its an old monogram kit. The new rating sytem that revell uses now can be deceiving.

Is there another better kit to build this model?

Yes I agree the exhaust should be separate

I agree especially how expensive these kits are nowadays. Speaking of shitty kits, never get the mpc country charger bro!!!

I know Revell uses the level system on their other types of kits, aircraft, ships, etc. From what I have read the level system pertains to the number of parts, not difficulty. The more parts a kit has, the higher their number.

This is a skill 4 kit with only 70 parts!!!

I rarely use the exhaust in a kit. So, I hate when it is molded into any chassis.

Do you scratch build the xhaust?

@@catlady8324 I prefer hot rods over stock. So, if I build for the track, I usually go open exhaust. If I build for the street, then I will make or modify the exhaust to dump somewhere before the rear end. 🤓👍

    Yea, i agree 100%. It's still a great looking build. K.u.t.g.w.

Can it be that this is a re-released model from the 70s? Sometimes they do this without renewing the kit.

      It must be

I agree for a higher level kit exhaust should be separate, but I do build lesser level kits because there still fun, and sometimes you can’t get a particular vehicle in higher levels, but in any kit I hate rear ends molded in and exhaust molded in!

For some aniversary they released some old kits around 17 years ago. The Savannah was great, but the Enterprise was a nightmare.

Yeah that kit was rather disappointing, the interior lacks a lot of detail compared to their 70 Cuda kits. I will say it is not as bad as an average mpc kit.
