Point Hill has some of the best memories of my life.Especially the school former Point Hill All Age now Point Hill Junior High that's the best Shool with Teachers like Mrs Angus,Miss James,Miss Thomas,Mrs Hamilton Mr Chambers, Mr.Charlton and Miss Reeva Latty. Also slot more those were the good old days. RESPECT to this COMMUNITY and all these teachers although some gone on.
As you turned the corner towards Point Hill Primary, waited with bated breath for the spot where they used to stack the sugarcane. Wen school ova we used to raid it, looking for the thickest piece. Sometimes the heap would topple, den we'd tek foot. Mid-60s; those were the days. Naughty children!!!! But thanks; I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. Bless!
Hi deameon I see that you lived there is this near a place called snake hill ? I went there 15 years ago to visit my cousins ie butlers ‘ O’Connor’s ‘ harris last names
My dad, uncles and aunt's were born went to school and church in Point Hill. What a wonderful loving neighbourhood. My grandparents are buried there. I still have a picture with my father and uncle playing domino's in the school they attended. I really like to know if the old school was rebuilt. It's so nice to see this video, God bless my people 💓 🇯🇲
Thabk you for posting. My Dad came from Point Hill... Made me tear up to see the Apple tree he planted - around 3.50, on the left where the car overtakes. I've walked that road many times and miss Jamaica so much... so once again many thanks for showing me a little bit of 'home'.
Thanks for introducing me to these rural areas. Now I can put a place to a name. …. Your car responds very well, plus the turbo sneeze.... love the sound!
Am so happy to see that someone else is doing the same idea I had for 3yrs now but never get to do it yet touring Jamaica was always one of the quest I wanted to do and display each and every community names so that others can know different parts of Jamaica too
I have been to point hill once ..lovely country side..thanks for taking us on a journey with you to deep rural st Catherine..what kind of vehicle are you driving? The engine sounds so loud..Jamaica beautiful ennuh..it reminds me of Portland..similar scenery

A running commentary would have been nice. What is the long yellow building on the right, for instance?
Please turn Closed Captions "ON" for more details. The yellow building seems to be a shopping plaza
A complex in the square housing various businesses
