    This the kind of bird photography I like. Someone, please tell the Northrups how it’s done.

    That was a fun one. Now I feel the need to get a 13 & 1/3 ND filter.

    I was always taught that with 10 stop NDs and beyond you should add another 50% of exposure time beyond what the charts would say was an equivalent time. (JOEL TJINTJELAAR). I know it works with digital but never tried it with film. Enjoyed your video and subscribed.

    I liked the video, very cool filter. As a side note, I bought a Rollei SLXii about a month and a half ago. Sadly my lenses only arrived yesterday. The first is the Rollei 80mm f2.8 HFT Planar, the second is the Rollei 50mm f4 Distagon HFT. The glass is in great shape as is the Camera, but the shutter and aperture blades do not move on either lens. Was hoping you might do a quick video on the Rollei Lenses you have, and show how the lenses are supposed to work. I've taken my lenses apart but suspect the electronics in the lenses are faulty. Thanks, cheers. Stay safe, and happy holidays.

      Does it even sound like it is trying to do anything? I.e. is the battery good? Maybe try this video for a general overview on how it is supposed to work th-cam.com/video/ocnUx-1kiAI/w-d-xo.html

      @@clickroach The camera is working, the battery is good, both the mirror and dark screen move freely. There's no oil on the aperture blades or shutters, but they don't even move in manual mode. The lenses are both stuck wide open at f2.8 and f4 respectively.

      Sorry. Sounds like this is outside of my experience then.

    Hello! I was wondering where you got this an ND filter for 4x5. Thanks!

      Probably B&H or Adorama. I've had this one for over 20 years now so I don't really remember.
      However, I'd say spending more on a square kit like the one K&F Concept sells with the adaptors to cover any lens you might own in the future might be the way to go.

    how did you fixed light leak?

    • @clickroach
      @clickroach  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Replaced the light seal foam where the bellows connect to the body

      @@clickroach thanks ! sometimes I get light leaks with my rittreck camera. In negative on the top where the dark slide inserts the holder. I think it is holders problem because bellows are light tight

      @@gabrysgabriukas Light leak diagnosis is always a fun logic puzzle. If it is only sometimes, that could hint at one particular film holder being the problem. And if it is coming from the side of the dark slide, that would hint that the light trap inside could be worn out. One thing I do is notch my film holders. (see: www.jbhphoto.com/articles/film-holder-numbering/) That was if a light leak does start to appear, and can tell if it is the same film holder every time and determine which one might be wearing out.
