- Our cover of 'Delilah' by Tom Jones. Recorded live into a zoom using an SM58 for the vocals and a D.I for the guitar. This is one of our favourites to perform when we have a crowd that are up for a good singalong! Ben is extremely proud of the laughter effects he sourced from freesounds.org (he usually does the laughing himself when we perform this one live!)

Wonderful..... It's one of those songs that so often gets, "over-sung". Beautiful diction and constraint. Guitar playing at a complimentary level, Nice, and the laughter breaks the seriousness of the piece selling the lightheartedness of your interpretation. Great Job!

I liked it but I didn't love it. Reasons: Delilah is not a comedy it's a drama. An intense one. first you have to get rid of the canned laughs. Then you have to find a register where you'll be forced to give it everything you have. It sounds too easy and not commited.
That's fair enough. The intention was to pick up on the novelty singalong vibe we get in pubs.
We did this video a while back, and it's one of the only ones which got any views - who knows how the TH-cam algorithm works.
We take your comments onboard though and appreciate it - the great thing about TH-cam is there are no doubt plenty other covers which meet the criteria you stated
