Beautiful card and a lovely story too. Can't beat that!
As for the camera, it reminds me of the Kodak Brownie Holiday from the 1950s. The biggest difference is where the flash (yes, that's the term) is. On the Brownie Holiday, it was on the right side of the camera (when facing the lens) on a flash bar. This one was a lot smaller than the more popular Brownie Hawkeye and was meant to be taken on holidays to capture memories. :-D

In 2010, my family went on a trip to the Grand Canyon. During our travels, we stopped at Cadillac Ranch which was quite funny.

This was so helpful. My brother is a photography buff so I was going to make this one for him. This video helped me know how to put it together. Also, I love your commentary.
Love your card Tina. You used really beautifully coloured cardstock. Love Spellbinders and appreciate your inspiration. So looking forward to receiving my kits, they usually arrive towards the end of the month. You reminded me of one of our trips to the States when we had an amazing holiday which took in part of Route 66 including Winslow, Arizona (which we were aware of from The Eagles song). Just had to stand on the corner of course❤️❤️❤️
It is a vintage camera so the top circle is the flash. It would have a bulb you would insert in the middle. Love this card so cute and love your story about giving your girls cameras to capture your trip!

The camera body could be made into a tote. With the middle being a shaker and put a bottle of wine and flowers coming out of it.

This is the cutest card I have seen made with this die set! Absolutely adorable and I loved the story of giving your daughters cameras to document your trip down Route 66. I didn't realize they were already teenagers!!!
