Good question and no, no really a hybrid board. Cable and boat are really different in the ride, mainly the flex. For boat boards, I like a pretty stiff board bc it allows you to get more snap/pop off the wake and it actually makes for softer landings. Flex makes for harder landings bc the board bends more, which makes it stop more, which I can feel in the board and the line tension. That's just my opinion. I may do a video on that one day. @@Shaun.Murray thanks for the quick response, I’ve got both styles myself, but have introduced a few new people to the sport recently and I remember hybrids being a thing in the past. Guess I’ll recommend them getting two different boards! 😎
@@zjcrazy94 Good call. Seems like a bigger spend but in the end it won't be bc people eventually learn they are very different boards and they don't transfer from one to the other very well...UNLESS you wanna butter around like this!
