Same question... I’m setting mine at 7.5 and just doing regular + / - hookups. Im wanting to hook up more than 2, from a pioneer elite receiver. I’d like to be at 6 speakers, all these. So far... only have gotten 2 to sound off.
@@Makemericher If you're setting something at the speaker, that leads me to think you are running these wrong... If you're using a traditional stereo setup, you want these set at 8 ohm. The other settings leading to numbers are for transformer taps for high voltage 70v/100v use. You've very likely spent more on the transformer "T" version that is completely unnecessary for your use case. Be careful using these on anything other than the 8 ohm setting because the amplifier will potentially see an impedance much higher than 20 ohms which can be damaging to the amp. When you're using a 70v/100v line amplifier with these, you can set the power that the speakers will draw from the line. In the 70v/100v configuration you can parallel as many speakers up as you like (as long as you stay within the amplifier's power output rating, or you keep the speakers at a low power tap) This video is demonstrating a typical home stereo setup which is your basic low impedance line (8 ohm, 4ohm) look up basic speaker wiring diagrams to do with impedance if you want to know how to connect 6 speakers per side. Electrovoice's Evid manual also has wiring diagrams... read that...
hello, could you tell me how you removed the mesh grill? tia
Can i run 1 of these these in a car off an amplifier? 60w rms 120peak at 4ohm from 1 of the channels ?
I ran them in 2003 Volvo XC70. AMAZING SPEAKERS!!!
Hi, these seem a little light in the bass department, was thinking about installing these in my basement.
It has enough bass.
@@AleXNis how to remove the grill?
how are they connected there is a connector in the back right ?

hi, i cant hear whether the bass is going well. is a subwoofer necessary for this kind of music for chilling in the garden?
They have a matching Subwoofer EVID 12.1 that has the crossover build in.
How do you have them wired and what setting?
