If this goes on for too long, instead of calling it quits eventually, I think it would be cool to see it become a community thing. Maybe take 10-20 streamers and collectively open 1000 cases a day for a month or something
That is a good idea until you look at the cost 😭 just being generous and assuming a key costs 2.50 and a case only 50 cents that’s still equating to $90,000 for each one of those streamers in a single month 💔

@@joshy9707 about 75k in cash, probably less+cases give about a 50% return or so+site sponsors would salivate at the chance of sponsoring that hypothetically huge event. So basically it should be about 25k per streamer, which is still a lot, but significantly less than your original projection

Rust coat butterfly I opened on my second ever case I opened. Back then it was worth maybe about $200 I watched that thing almost drop to $100 and was super sad to see the value dropping. But 2 more years later now it’s fluctuating between $600 to $800. May be the worst butterfly knife but sheeeit dawg it’s a butterfly knife. I named mine Rusty Stabby Stabby

Im gonna be honest I really like the rust coat. Its definitely not as clean as the really good skins, but id say its better than the standard camo style skins
I think Stained is one of the more underrated lower tier knife finishes. I had a karambit stained back when they were around $200 and loved it but traded it not long after getting it

If I ever got a Sapphire butterfly knife I'm not sure whether I'd be happy or kind of disappointed, because how the hell are you going to find a buyer for it? The only sensible thing I can think of would be to trade it down to multiple less expensive knives and sell them, but then you probably would get like 50% of its original worth.
