  • Hello everyone! Today I am bringing you the requested mesh sweater tutorial! It is very simply and great for comfortable beginners and intermediate crocheters! This sweater is so versatile and made to measure, so it is size inclusive and very customizable! I was inspired to make this top from all of the lovely mesh-style boleros and sleeves to accessorize summer outfits, and I wanted to make my own version with an easy to understand tutorial and formula :)
The concept of raglan style tops is definitely not my own, nor is the mesh stitch, but I wanted to share how I freehanded this top so you can make one for yourself!!

I love this i am making it as i follow your video.. when starting my sleeves i made them a little more out i want more of a flow but when i get them where i want do i need to start deceeasing my stiches cuz i want it longer for the torso.

Depends if you want the torso more fitted or keep it loose. I chose to do creases in my torso because I wanted it to fit my body better instead of being loose

    Love the video❤
    I'm a bit confused
Are we supposed to increase by 3 in row 3 and continue increasing in that manner?

      @@UyiosaOsai Hi!
You should be increasing 4 times in each row when you are making the yoke! (The yoke is the neck line piece, before you separate the arms and the body.) there should be an increase in each of the corners

Do you mean 7mm? Your crochet hook looks much bigger than a size 7 (4.5mm, between G and H). Thank you so much for sharing this! ❤

@@melanief967 yes!! I used a 7mm 😅😅 I forget that there are number sizes and measurement number sizes.

@@meganj4543 oh no! Hang in there!! It’s really important to keep it straight in that first row!!

I had the same issue, but with patience and up to 5 attempts it finally worked.

I had a hard time with that too. It took me about 3 tries before it was straight dont give up!
