I always enjoy watching these Barnes and Noble Criterion haul videos taking place at locations that I’ve been to/familiar with. The Mall of America B&N is one of my go-to stores for Criterions.
I was here just the next day! It's so cool seeing titles on the shelf that I ended up picking up. Also funny that the Arrow title mixed into the Criterion blurays was still mixed in when I was shopping!
Solid haul, Derek! I own all of those and I liked Uncut Gems in 2019 in theater and loved it when I bought it in July for the last sale. At times I thought that was your dad doing the dubbing in the video. 😂
I grabbed princess bride. It was a must buy. Im really thinking about la bamba. I wish it was 4k but such a good movie ill probably grab it....but i might get distracted again 😂
Awesome pickups! Love that you grabbed the freaks and friends Blu. I’m thinking of getting that Don’t Look Now later in the month. I’ll be spreading out my purchases
Good pickups! My work schedule has been a bit weird this week but I'm hoping to get out tonight and do some shopping. I see they roped you in with their shiny C tote bag! 😆
Thanks a always Uncle Tony. It's purple 😂 I was lucky that we were planning on going to the Mall of America so I could go on rides just a couple days after the sale started it worked out for everybody... except my wife I guess lol
Not all new Criterion releases are in 4K. To discard a movie because you're a format junkie, is pathetic. I can guarantee that not all Criterion films will be available in 4K. Don't Look Now never had a Criterion release on DVD, that was a Paramount title. Criterion had the Blu-ray domestically.
I'll buy a newer bluray from criterion but they've been re-releasing so many older titles on 4k that I'm hesitant. And yeah DLN was bluray I just forgot 😂

It's my favorite one to go to if I can. It's supposed to be one of the few in the country that will carry every release in store.
Wowwwww your store has soooooo many criterions!! Mine has a tenth of that!
The biggest mall in the country better live up 😂 I'm lucky though because my local store is pretty solid too

Awesome! Those little buggers get everywhere
Awesome pick ups Derek !! I need to get that princess bride movie. Also that store was pretty cool that you went too. Great video 🍿🥰
Thanks as always! Yeah MOA is a great location
I just went the other day and started with 5 titles but left with only 1! Trying to pace myself for the holidays 😂
I did the opposite 😂

Haha. The voice comes out when my beard is shaved 😂
@@ConvictedCinephile man, you’re funny. 🤣
I am but oddly enough that's not a joke.
I gotta get that Tote!
IT'S TOTE-ALLY WORTH IT 😂
I grabbed princess bride. It was a must buy. Im really thinking about la bamba. I wish it was 4k but such a good movie ill probably grab it....but i might get distracted again 😂
Yeah princess bride is a great one.

I usually do haha. Had to get that million dollar tote though
@@ConvictedCinephile I wish mine offered the tote 😞
Those jerks 😂

When you're already at like $85 it's worth it for the lameness 😂
I went to Ridgedale and Maplewood Mall and there weren’t very many 4K at those spots.
Maplewood usually has what I need but they're always hiding behind the counter 😂
Lots of good ones!
I hope so for the ones I haven't seen 😂
Freaks i might get on bluray since i heard the restoration well they did the best they could
Haha. Yeah it's tough I'm sure for a damn near 100 year old movie
Great pickups Derek! I am jealous of the nice B&N you have to go to. Is The Princess Bride book blue or purple?
Thanks a always Uncle Tony. It's purple 😂 I was lucky that we were planning on going to the Mall of America so I could go on rides just a couple days after the sale started it worked out for everybody... except my wife I guess lol
I really like the new camera. Nice and crisp picture@@ConvictedCinephile
@BasementBlus thank my friend who didn't need it 😂 still need to play with it a bit
I didn't know the Freaks set featured other movies. Freaks is okay, but The Unknown is better.
Ooh good to know. I've never heard anyone say anything about the other 2 films
So what were the prices?
The 4ks are generally $25 marked down from $50. Blurays are usually $20 from $40
You didn’t get Romeo and Juliet.
I did not 😂 should i?

Mulholland Drive is my favourite film! I only have the basic dvd though 🥲
I need to watch it again. It's an odd duck that's for sure 😆
@@ConvictedCinephile It’s difficult but more rewarding the more you think about it
@hvitekristesdod I'm sure I'll like it now upon rewatch.
