This is so amazing! From watching your videos in PA school, knowing that you've been pushing yourself and acknowledging how much there is to learn, to now, is amazing! Its so impressive to see how humble you are, how hardworking you are, and a wonderful example of what can be done if you put your mind to it! I have been considering doing a residency myself and am grateful you made this video! All the best to you on this strong start to being an amazing PA!

I’ve followed along with your residency videos since I worked in ICU previously and am now in PA school. You inspire me to possibly apply to one myself :)

Thank you for your kind words! If I could do it again, I definitely would. I highly recommend it for any APP going into critical care!

Thank you for sharing this amazing video! Looking back after completing a critical care PA residency/fellowship, what would say are important things to ask a program and its current students about beyond what is listed on the website? In other words, what do you feel are important aspects of a critical care fellowship program that one should look out for (after having gone through one) when looking for programs to apply to? Any red flags someone should be aware of?

Congratulations Estefan! New to ur channel and u got some good stuff to learn from here. I was wondering though How are exams structured during the didactic year? Standardized MC? Or short answer types?

Hi! And the majority of the exams are MC, they are meant to mirror the PANCE exam that you take after you complete PA school to be licensed to become a PA. The only written exam I had was my anatomy practical exams.

    Hello,
How did you stay motivated to keep pursing PA during your undergrad? I graduate December and currently feel burnt out.

I kept looking forward to end of the tunnel, my goal and my end point! Remember it’s just transient, overcome this hurdle! And think about your main goal of becoming a fantastic PA!

I would have totally done a residency if I didn’t already have a job out of school
