Do you let them graze ? carry flakes of hay ? , some places have water some have water half way up the trail , how much water can a horse carry ? the places i go vary quite a bit some have meadows some have brush , im trying to figure out a percentage of the horses payload is food and water for itself.

I didn't understand the part about not watering them after feeding. Why shouldn't you water after feeding?
