Shhhh who you telling man.Im born in February of 1987,so I came up watching the same things as you all.But being a kid during that time was something different, putting it words don't give it enough justice it was just something you had to experience to know& understand it❗

ABC's TGIF lineup for Friday April 26, 1996. 8pm - Family Matters (new episode: Dream Date) 8:30pm - Boy Meets World (new episode: I Was a Teenage Spy) 9pm - Step by Step (new episode: Major Pain) 9:30pm - Hanging With Mr Cooper (new episode: True Confessions) 10pm- 20/20
ABC's TGIF block (1989-2000) began to die in the fall of 1997: stemming from a combination of aging sitcoms like Family Matters and Step by Step moving to CBS (who started - and ended - their own family-friendly Friday night sitcom line-up in 1997-98 called "The Block Party"), the oversaturation of supernatural/magic type shows (Sabrina the Teenage Witch and new series You Wish and Teen Angel, the latter of which both lasted only one season), the failure of Two of a Kind (which was the last sitcom produced by the previously reliable Miller-Boyett group) starring the Olsen twins the following year. Ultimately, the ending of Boy Meets World after seven seasons and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch moving to The WB after the 1999-2000 season. ABC would bring back the TGIF brand for the 2003-05 & 2018-19 seasons, but it never met the same success it had before.

I never understood why ABC dropped both Family Matters and Step by Step and both shows were in their final season that never made sense to me. When Full House was in its final season it wasn’t part of the TGIF line up. What I’m getting at is, why couldn’t ABC keep both those shows but just not make them part of the line up just give it a new time slot.
The feelings of wonder and excitement as a kid in the 90s getting to watch a show or movie or some other bit of entertainment (or good food) is so pure that I've never forgotten it. It's also convinced me there's such a thing as true happiness/contentment where you don't feel obligated to restrain your bliss.
I always said the 80's were the best. At this point of craziness in current times, the 1990s I would also take back and relive in a heartbeat as they were good too.
Those XTREEEEM commercials always made me feel like i was missing out living in florida i guess even tho i grew up in san diego with plenty of watersports but i always wanted the water to be warmer i guess like florida or hawaii where it can be like 80 degrees warm
