Hello Aurora, I am shocked about the prices for sure! There are some 'kilo' shops here in France which follow the same model and i've only ever bought a blouse from the 1950s which was around 10 euros. There's better deals to be had in the secondhand charity shops.
Hello Nathalie, thank you for your comment! 😊 Here in Italy unfortunately we don't have many charity shops: we have many second hand shops where the people can bring their used things and the shop gets half the money, so the prices are high compared to charity shops! My main source of vintage clothes are flea markets and weekly markets (there I can find rummage sales)! But yes you're right, this Vinokilo was expensive! 😅😅😅 If you like flea markets you will find some videos in my channel, let me know what you think about them! 😉 Thank you again and see you soon! 😘
Hye Aurora! Thanks for sharing this. What a fun event to have. I really can see a lot of beautiful vintage pieces over there. I wish we have such an event over here.. (So envious of you.. 🤭🤭). Btw, I love your outfit in this video and the skirt is absolutely beautiful!
Hello Elle! 🥰 Here in Italy the vintage kilo sales are something quite new, so maybe they will arrive in Malaysia too! 😉 But I see from your last video that you can do some good thrifting and that you have other places to buy nice second hand and vintage things! Thank you very much and see you soon! 😘😘😘
Hi Aurora, I saw your video after going to my first Vinokilo in Zurich. I wish I saw it before, but luckily I was comfortably dressed. Of course, each experience is different, but I agree next time I have to go earlier. I went at 5 pm. The quality is quite good, though. Left with 3 beautiful pieces I will be able to combine easily. Your skirt is beautiful, by the way. From your video, I saw more variety as in the Zurich one we didn't have any accessories which I would have loved. I was able to stay as much as I wanted and this is one of the highlights of the event, but, in reality, I spent more time waiting to enter and waiting to pay. I agree that is expensive even though in Switzerland second hand and vintage are always expensive. On point, a must-see video before deciding to go! 👍
Hello Monica😊👋, thank you for sharing your experience! 😉 I'm happy that you've been able to make some good purchases, I also never leave Vinokilo empty handed! 🤭🤭🤭 I've been there 3 times, but now here in Italy there is also another vintage kilo sale called 'vintage kilo sale italia' and I've been there too, but I found the Vinokilo selection was better! You can find the video in my channel, if you want to check it out! 😉 See you soon! 😘
Hi Monica I will go to the next vinokilo sale in zürich. I am a bit confused. I booked the tickets from 14.00-15.00. Does this mean I only have 1 hour to stay for shopping or can I also stay longer?
@@Fabian.551 hi! When I participated, there was a big queue outside, we waited around 20 minutes to enter and more time to pay. Once inside, you can stay as much as you need to find special gems. I think for payments it is the card only policy if it didn't change. After Zurich, I went to Lucerne twice and it was cosier as there weren't so many people, but I didn't find the Zurich quality and the fun&friendly atmosphere. 🤣
AMAZING !!! Hi Aurora, I enjoy your channel so much, you have a great gift pulling every thing together perfectly, around vintage clothing, and we are so lucky to travel along, your the best. THANK YOU, DIANE
Hello Aurora, thank you for the video! I watched this because I'm thinking of checking out a vinokilo event near me soon but wasn't sure how it worked. Your video was informative and really fun to watch! Just one question, I thought I heard you say in the video that you only have an hour. Is there a time limit to the event? Can I stay as long as I want or do I have to leave after a certain amount of time? Thank you!
Hello Flapbunny 😀👋 thank you for watching! 😃 During the pandemic they only allowed you to stay for 1 hour, but now I think there's no time limit! Enjoy your shopping experience and let me know if you purchase something! 🤩🤩🤩
@@blackrips Honestly, I found a few cute clothes but not anything that I would wear!! You also pay by weight so all of the stuff was expensive :( I would say it wasn't worth it, but it was definitely fun looking around and seeing what they have 🙏
Thank you Kathy, I'm happy that you've enjoyed this video, thank you very much for your comment! And yes you should definitely try the 'vintage kilo' experience! 😉 Are there any vintage kilo sale in your country?
@@VintageWeekendsItaly I do shop vintage here n in the USA. I am a citizen of Italy but I have not been in italy sense 2018 due to the virus. I enjoy you videos and would love to shop with you when I can travel. Vintage is my favorite.
Hello Gloria, thank you so much! 🥰 Yes it would be great to shop together! 😆 Tell me if you come to Venice so we can organize it! 🤩 In the meantime, let's keep in touch, you're always very kind! 😊 Many kisses and see you in the next video! 😘
I visited VINOKILO recently in Lisbon. Do not recommend at all. Low quality of items, very small variety of products ( basically no accessories or shoes) and sizes ( the only items worth buying were XS) and in SUPER EXPENSIVE (50 euros per kilo). Also in a place in ruins .
Oh yes, unfortunately the prices are rising and the quality is dropping! 🤨🤨🤨 Thank you for sharing your experience and I'll see you soon in another video! 😘
What a fun way to select vintage treasures ❤
