It's no wonder the songs are so different, since 100 was aimed at the western market and Tiger Inside was aimed at the asian market! I like both, but I prefer Tiger Inside, love everything about it! Can't wait for their title track!
That doesn't make sense. SuperM was supposed to be a group who solely focus on the western market. SM probably saw that they aren't doing good in the usa.

I'm just gonna assume you didn't follow their promotions and livestreams, bc not only did they specifically say Tiger Inside was a song which fits the asian taste, the very concept of the song is inherently korean, Korea is literally represented by a tiger. "aren't doing good in the usa" is a funny way to describe them hitting #1 on billboard with their debut album too.

On SM instagram account it used to say "All purchases go to billboard chart" but then they changed it to "All USA purchases go to the billboard chart".
The US calculates your success based on your physical album sales + downloads + streaming. SuperM sold over 160K physical albums but their number of downloads and streaming were terrible. A lot of people were talking about that. They were also saying how they were #1 on Billboard 200, but were not on any song sales chart, which was a curious occurrence since it never happened on the Billboard. Their fans were shielding them saying how American singers also use bundles. But those singers who do bundling and hit #1 on the Billboard 200 are also #1 in song sales chart. This means that it's because they are that famous that these American artists are selling well. SuperM was nowhere on the songs charts. In other words, SuperM was able to to be on Billboard because of their sales OUTSIDE of the US. Korea herald confirmed it from the retailers in SK and SM global had a message confirming shippings to outside US are all counted for BB. You can obviously see by their WW sales and US sales, really.
It wa so bad that Billboard made a statement saying they'll try to fix the loopholes in their system.
@@cheeseoftruth7293 I'm not really denying the fact that this release was aimed towards South Korea. I'm just saying it doesn't make sense because this group was created solely for the western market. Their pre-release 100 didn't do good in the American charts (Wonho who literally made a comeback as a soloist after a big scandal literally outcharted them) nor the Korean charts. Same for this song (even tough the results were a tad bit better in Korea, but still, they were out of the top 100 in Melon).
@@therearenogirlsontheinternet_ The journalist of that article literally had to backtrack and correct the article because they were spreading false information. Using bundles isn't cheating, it's within the rules. Their first mini album is still high on the world album chart btw.
Comparing a pre-release single which wasn't well liked by an audience that isn't a core fandom focused on streaming to a title track debut which is always going to get more attention is a very faulty comparison.
The charts also would not change anything about my original comment being true. While not a lot of promotions were possible bc of the pandemic and Taemin's comeback, promotions for 100 focused more on the US (GMA, partnership with FN1), while Tiger Inside focused on the asian market so far. Looking at the MV and songs alone is enough to guess the target audiences.
I know that a lot of fans prefer tiger inside over 100 and jopping and it also does better on the charts from what i saw😅

Your videos are always interesting to watch and there are a lot of things that I only learn after hearing your reaction videos. One thing I also noticed when you were talking about for the focus on the vocals at the beginning than the latter of the chorus was the video itself. The beginning is mostly solo shoots of each of the members, and later it's the crazy group dance with the camera angles, just like the music.

this song can change many peoples to be their best version. to not tie the "tiger" inside their body.
Ich finde das ganze Lied passt perfekt zum animalistisch wilden Thema ohne dabei lächerlich zu wirken. Finde es auch deshalb mega krass. Ich liebe die Rap parts und der Chorus ist auch richtig, richtig geil. Es hat etwas sehr interessantes und frisches und klingt sehr einzigartig. Bin aber ich bin wieder enttäuscht darüber, dass Lucas wieder keine Gesangs ODER Rap Parts hatte, ich meine diese "brüllige"Teile kriegen cool und seine Stimme passt sehr gut dazu aber seine Singstimme klingt halt auch sehr schön. Möglicherweise passt sie ja nicht so gut zum Lied, was ich nicht denke, aber es ist immer wieder enttäuschen zu sehen dass er in den bisherigen super m title tracks extrem im Hintergrund steht. Baekhyun zum Beispiel bekommt auch sehr viele tiefere Teile, ich sehe kein Problem damit ein paar Zeilen zu anderen Membern zu geben. Ach ja und Ten hatte definitiv zu wenig lines. Aber wenigstens hat er ebenfalls definitiv genug in Wayv.
