I'm so glad you uploaded this! I was just looking at possible ways for a more competitive Jodah deck last night, and then I see this today on my lunch break! :D
The meta is something that I have fallen in love with in EDH. Watching it evolve and then break it down so people can brew better and better decks may be my favorite part of the game.
Nice video! I'm doing something similar on my brew of Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, with a reanimate package. It's not as consistent as yours since no Razaketh or the rest of the combo you explained, but's another way of beating down faces with big stax creatures like Brisela, praetors white and black, Iona of course, etc. Your brew gave me some nice ideas, never heard of Nullstone Gargoyle or Energy Flux before, it will be awesome to include those!
With omniscience in play and tidesprout,another wincon would be just searching for nicol bolas,god pharaoh.Just cast bolas,bounce tyrant.Then cast tyrant again and use bols ability to cast something from the opponent’s deck.when you do,you return bolas to hand,and you are back to step one.Sadly...it may clog against blue decks with their counters...yet if you have any other spell in hand,you can reset the loop again.
Sweet decklist; I can see this being particularly good in 1v1 commander. Although his strategy here is linear, there's really just so much you can do with Jodah. Not to mention a resolved Omniscience here simply ends games. In my version, I discovered some really cool combos where I can blow up my Eldrazi's, thus recycling my graveyard/field into my deck. From there I can cast any nonland card an infinite amount of times, even without an Omniscience. I think with the proper amount of card draw, answers and ramp, this deck is stupidly consistent given the huge mana curve. It can become extremely difficult to outrace this deck in the long run and even mid-game, where you can just bury your opponent in explosive "staxy" cards. Really fun commander to play with and also budget-friendly.
Just saw this and dang we have almost the same deck... the razaketh-omni jank combo is crazy fun. Toolbox at it’s finest with creature etb and cast triggers, eldrazis for card draw and removal. You should add zacama! Also got jin-gitaxias on my hatebear list along with iona, vorinclex, and void. I generally don’t pile on the stax though so i don’t get hated on all game long.
Love this video and I love your content, Maybe add academy rector and season's past I assume since the deck has black you would be running demonic tutor, maybe run another and with the combo grab out all your heavy beaters in one turn??? Not as main won con of course but as a secondary possibly run flash but it's only Target would be rector
Urabrask may indeed not fit here. However though, I run all the praetors in my deck for flavor, and to my surprise Urabrask has the potential to being the strongest one. Although he isn't the most consistent, the rest of the deck makes up for that. He fills that 5 CMC role perfectly, and having one or several followed up Eldrazis is absolutely devastating. His second ability has unintentionally saved me from dying numerous times, and almost always throws a wrench into my opponents plans. He basically allows for an immediate, extra win con with some bought time.
Hmm. This still dies to the Sisay deck stax with Elesh Norn and Living Plane... Plus null rod or stony silence for good measure. Still don't know of a combo that beats it once it's out

First of all, I really enjoy your videos on cEDH and they have taught me quite a bit, but I have a play group and we decided to play without tutors since those are some of the 'fun rules' that our local game store has. Now I was wondering what I should do to replace the tutors in the deck according to you, should I play more card draw, more hatebears or should I do something else? And keep up the great work with the videos man, really appreciate them.
I would go all out storm! Break the meta! Storm doesn't care about anything. They just wanna rock and roll. Ydris is perfect for that. Narset turnes to. Edric spymaster of trest is also perfect.
Or just make a deck full of permanents and cast Primal Surge. Eventually you hit Laboratory Maniac and something that draws cards when it enters the battlefield. Tah dah, you won
Idk but I liked rectors more :) and Through the breach and discards duress thoughtseize and Cabal therapy, Omniscience , dem tutor, diabolic tut, seasons past and beacon of tommorows gg :)) ty

I love Jin-Gitaxias for this deck. Actually, why not all the Praetors?
The red one isent that good. But I added the white one in my tapped out deck list.

Vorinclex here is also just disgusting, nearly time walking your opponents and getting bonus Jodah activations.
