I believe in 1983 in Presque Isle, Maine . I heard the word of life singers from the college, sing this as they did the revelation presentation as a young Christian. I enjoyed it greatly and got this album and played it hundreds of times. This my favorite song "come Holy Spirit" by the great hymn writer. John Peterson. What happened to the word of life college? I'm sure they were corrupted by modern bibles and taking down the wall of separation with umbilical brethren as well as embracing The contemporary style of music have killed the school. No impact, it doesn't matter if they have a lot of people. No impact for Christ. By the way, I don't even know if they still exist anymore.
We need more Godly, seperated music like this!!!! We, as a nation need to repent and get back to the basics of holy living and soulwinning! Romans 12:1,2 & Prov. 11:30!!
WOW! Memories galore! I never participated in a Rev Tour, but I did learn the music and attended a concert in OKC in 1987. Oh to be on stage again in some strange town with my friends, sharing the Love and Power and Glory of God! My tours were: God's Portrait of Love (midwest)'84 Passion Play (midwest)'85 Genesis (Canada)'85 Daniel (East Coast) '86
I was the Original Abednego. Started WOLBI in the Fall of 82 took Winter quarter off to go on tour with Alumni presenting Daniel. Graduated from SYM in 85. I was in the Collegians who recorded this album as well as the one for Daniel. I loved touring with WOL!
Yes Csrl and i still drive by TVBA on a regular basis. In a big truck. Still singing and praising God! Purhaps you remember the warm spring morning that we got off the bus near the Amish school to walk the rest of the way. The telephone pole incident...
Ron Martin/ Carl McClure, you are right on with your post. I remember you from Faith Christian School in Collingswood NJ way back. My name is Donna Loose Vitt. Just want to say hello! (I also knew Ruth, and her brother from STC back in the early "80's
Hey Brother, I think we know each other. I went to, and graduated from Twin Valley Bible Academy in Morgantown, PA. My birth name is Carl McClure. I graduated from the WOLBI in '83, was with the collegians until the music started getting worldly. You have a sister named Ruth, a little older than you. Give me a shout back, and let me know if this is you or not.
I went to WOLBI with Carl, but didn't we work together at the Inn in the summer 1981? I've thought of you through the years...Wishing you Love, Joy, Peace, Grace and a whole bunch more of that Love... That's the good stuff there!
@@NEGAHappyCamper I was in the Inn Dish Pit in 1982. Sat out '83 due to an eye injury and came back as maintenance in '84 WOLBI '84 '85. Then toured New England Canada and Midwest fall of '85 on the Genesis tour and January '86 East Coast/Disney World. Saw the Challenger explode among other fascinating events, including a massive flu outbreak. We were tested, tried and triumphant. Btw, became good friends with Sergio Cariello, who illustrated the Action Bible after having drawn for DC and Marvel for some time. We are very blessed. Most importantly, I saw SO many people give their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ!❤️🔥❤️🔥
Sorry Carl, I thought I replied years ago. But yeah this is Sam. Ruth is living in the same town I live in in Ohio. I followed her here. She's widowed with 2 daughters.
