bro made a 4min video to explain something that could hold in a sentence
"hold right click on a layer and move it wherever you need"
    your welcome

The aseprite documentation mentions it. But I made a video to help show how to do it. If you are using a touch display with stylus the action is a bit hidden. If you are using it with a mouse cursor input it is easier to see. Perhaps I should rename the video. Aseprite docs are good but they use animated gifs a lot and I thought a video would help explain.

@@larsbarnabee yeah man, thank you so much for the more in depth explanation. Im using pentab and it gets confusing, so thanks!!

It is difficult to account for all of the different ways to use the program. Especially when the nib can cover the area up. My guess is the developers never accounted for pen users. Probably a bit of an edge case. I like aseprite but some areas are small even on a large drawing tablet.

Compared to libresprite I like them both. Hard to account for every existing thing. Too many peripherals to check. I have experienced this myself. Dev life is a lot of work.

Don’t beat yourself up. The program is good, but many actions are incredibly subtle to use.
