    You don't need to use Touch and then Lock/Align on the bolts. Instead use only Lock/align on the edges, that are going to lie in the same plane. Then the bolt is fully constrained. Same goes for Concentric and Touch. Concentric essentially brings the two edges in the same plane, but allows for rotation.

    Dear Ally PLM,
    Thanks for video,
    I would like to ask a question. I don't see command CREATE COMPONENT ARRAY like you.
    I am using Nx 9.0. Could you please show me where that command ?
    Look forward to your reply soon.
    Hope for your cooperation!
    Thank you a lot in advance.
    Best regards

      Hi Duong Pham! He pick the bolt then go to component (component is a BASE has array 4 hole) so its follow array of the component that gives you 4 bolts) That's pretty cool. This feature doesn't apply to Solidworks.
      You can try by go back to the BASE change the array to 6 holes. It'll give you 6 bolts. Is that right Ben Roll?

    Hi.
    Could you please explain the difference between the CSYS and the WCS in an assembly, please?. How many of them I have?

    • @PROLIMPLM
      @PROLIMPLM  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      CSYS is a Datum Coordinate system. It has 3 datum planes, 3 datum axis, and a point. You can create multiples in any file. The WCS is the Work Coordinate System. You only have one WCS and you move it around to reference. Commands and options where you see XC, YC, or ZC reference the WCS.

    What is mean by top down assembly concept?
    what is mean by bottom up assembly concept?

      @PROLIMPLM  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Top Down Assembly just means editing/creating a component/subassembly in the context of a higher level assembly. Some people call this in place edit. In NX we use "Make Work Part" to access the component. Bottom up assembly means we are adding a "finished" component to the assembly.
