Maniac... though you should make that a double reaction and watch their Oddinary Main Trailer first then Maniac for full effect.. the sound design on the trailer is crazy. You'll wish it was for an actual movie.
This son is the title track for their album NoEasy. It is a dis to the haters that have called their songs God's Music and Side Effects as noise music. So, Stray Kids created an album just for the haters if you say NoEasy it almost sounds like noisy. They did that on purpose the love to play with words and lyrics, giving us double meaning or sounds between English and Korean. Loved the reaction. Thank you.
I'm just want to says, God menu and side effect are my favorite song, but idk after they drop god's menu and success, after that thier song kinda have the same sounds ( or noisy) i'm fans since thier early days but i kinda miss the other sound of them (the title tracks), this is my honest opinions, just because i'm not like thier song lately its not means im haters. ❤
Because Stray Kids are not traditional Kpop, meaning they produce and write their own music. They also contribute to the concepts of m/v and live performances. Because of these freedoms after the release of a pre-debut album (not done in Kpop), Stray Kids have received a lot heavy criticism calling their music noisy, and loud. Of course this criticism was coming from other entertainment companies and old music executives who are resisting change. Unfortunately Stray Kids were also on the receiving end of disrespect from a few Asian Award show committees. This is a song from NoEasy the comeback album after winning Kingdom. Stray Kids are saying yeah we’re loud but what can you do about it nothing, we are who we are and we’re not changing. Thankfully, they’re peers appreciate the music and give them the recognition they deserve.
A lot of reviews in the KPop world have referred to their music as being too loud and too noisy and not enough like music. So sometimes they will purposely make their songs extremely noisy to prove a point that it doesn't matter if it's considered noisy because it's still a bomb ass song. lol
Cannot wait to see stray kids in Hyde park in July! I love their bangers, but also love their more hip hop tracks. Freeze, cheese, venom, heyday... The list could go on forever. Domino is one of my absolute favourites, but there's no full music video. Would recommend watching this one as their dance practice, which is amazing!
@@Allonsyyyy They are also headlining I-Days Milano and the biggest Lollapalooza Chicago this year. The festivals are buying lots in the SKZ store after seeing the insane performance as headliner at Lollapalooza Paris last year 😂
53 yr old music fan. STRAY KIDS is why I listen to kpop now. Their discography is almost 200 diverse tracks deep. They are kings of word play, so it's best to pay attention. With Thunderous, the mix of traditional Korean instruments, the Pansori history, and SKZ flavor just bring this track to another level. This is an iconic SKZ track among dozens and dozens of others. For me almost every track is a favorite because they are so very different and can fit various moods. Have fun in Stayville. You'll find that this journey truly is not like any other!
This song is about people hating on them but them still going on and getting better and more popular and louder no matter what the haters say or think And in changbins first rap verse he says ’jutdwae‘ which means that he is someone who lives by his own rules and no one can tell him what he can do
The reason Stray Kids have songs like this is they get criticism. Anti fans say things like, all Stray Kids music is just noise and such. They don't really say things publicly but, they clap back when needed through song. People can hate however, the number of hits proves many love them. I am a Kpop stan since 2005. One of the things I love about them is the fact they are so different and use their music to prove a point or support Stays going through things in life . They also have songs about important things like Mental health. Very versatile.
Yes, more Stray Kids please. They have a huge variety of styles and it’s so fun as you discover them. What’s even more impressive is that they are self-produced. They compose, write lyrics, and create their unique sound. Recommend Easy, Maniac, Venom, and so many more. Enjoy the ride.
FYI you can’t miss with stray kids their whole discography is absolutely lit! so yeah all of it have at it and enjoy react to all of it please and thank you.
2:50 Common theme in their music. Anthems frequent the playlist, but they also cover a wide range of styles and messages, too. SKZ's video editors are masters - kings of transitions and specialty is match-cuts, IMO King mentality but amazingly humble (even now, imo, feels like they don't fully grasp their fame) They know who they are and aren't afraid to do what they want, not held back by norm and expectations.
This one has a special place in my heart as it’s the first one I heard by them, but also them just being unapologetically themselves, the thunderous ones!
SKZ are also interesting because they write and produce all their songs themselves. They create different music - from lyrics to rock. To understand how multi-talented these guys are, watch Venom and Red Lights. You looked at S class, Thunder and God's menu. These 5 songs are not similar to each other. But at the same time, they are amazing. Sorry if it's not clear - I'm writing through Google Translator.
Hello there 33 year old metalhead, I am a 53 year old metalhead who has been into kpop for a bit over a year now. Stray Kids and Ateez are two of my most favorite groups. Bouncy is the song that got me into ATEEZ, and a friend showed me Venom, which was my introduction to Stray Kids. Other groups I enjoy that you may like as well(recommendations in ()) include Monsta X(Shoot Out, Alligator, and Gambler, or play "guess who the rappers are" with Someone's Someone as your first song), WayV(Turn Back Time, Moonwalk, Phantom) and EXO(Tempo, Love Shot, Monster). Solo artists to check out include Taemin(Advice, Guilty) and Wonho(Eye on You, Lose).
Have been waiting for another Stray Kids’ reaction. Stray kids performed this song for the President of South Korea and other dignitary from Asian countries as representatives of South Korea at the 2020 Dubai EXPO. In 2023 they received the Prime Minister Commendation at the Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards. They have received several music awards, including an award for Best Creator given to the producing unit of Stray Kids (3 Stray Kids’ members called 3Racha who produce all of Stray Kids’ songs). Stray Kids have carved a path for themselves by “doing what they wanted”, and are living up to the lyrics of this song. I recommend La La La La next (if you haven’t seen it already).
You don’t understand. I’ve been watching you for a while and now that I know you’re reacting to one of my favorite groups, I’m so excited it’s stupid 😂😅
This is one of my favorite Stray Kids songs. And Noeasy (noisy) is definitely my favorite album. This whole album is a diss track. With songs like Cheese, Ssick and thouderous itself, which have two or three meanings and a lot of puns. Some of them are lost in translation. The original title of Tounderous is 소리꾼 (su-ri-kun) its literal translation is "song/sound expert" But it is used to describe pansori performers. Pansori is an ancient Korean dramatic art in which stories are told in song accompanied by a drum. Sounds similar to what Changbin does in min 1:28 The composition of the track includes traditional Korean instruments along with the sounds of modern K-pop. Just as the music video mixes aspects of the two eras such as clothing, the legend of the dokkaebi and the Daechwita, among other things.
Welcome to Stayville! I can't wait for you to react to Lalalala, especially since you love metal. The album (Rock Star) has a rock version of the song that is amazing!! They also have a live band included in their concerts, so many of their songs are more rock live ❤
Thunderous is my favorite song, followed closely by Backdoor. Other favs are Charmer, Red Lights, The Sound, Case 143, Lalalala, Megaverse, Chronosaurus, Hall of Fame, Get lit, Circus and I'll stop here. Vocal songs reco on your next video 😅
Stray kids have 3 sub units, all specify on diferent aspects of their image, and with their own songs that you might want to checked out. 3racha- mostly productionand rap, with their best song(my opinion) HEYDAY, danceracha- mostly dance with their songs WOW and TASTE and at the end vocal racha and their song CANT STOP. For all group songs you should checked out: Easy, LA La La, Super Bowl, Hellevator(pre-debute song) and the most recent one WHY?.
I noticed...... Hyunjin had opend Thunderous Story book with Felix on page. Felix is Thunderous One in book. Felix control Thunder. Felix had 3 Thunderous hairstyles. Actually there's real Felix Thunderous Merch that can be purchase online. Thunderous Felix's clothing, hats, gloves, stickers, tote bags, Books, dolls, Posters and more.
Funny how all the SKZ (Skiz) songs you've reacted to so far start with Changbin, known in the fandom as a Bintro. If the song starts with a Bintro you know it's gonna go hard! Thunderous was my intro to SKZ so will always be the QUEEN to me, I was hooked and haven't looked back since. STAYing forever! React to Maniac, Back Door, LALALALA and Megaverse next.
As a 33 year old kpop fan who started my journey at 31, I have to say, the one group that, as a metalhead, spoke to me and brought me to this genre, was Dreamcatcher. First song of them I heard was Scream, but you can’t go wrong with any of theirs. Dreamcatcher- BOCA will also hit you hard.
I think because they write, produce and record their own music their budget from the company can be put into more spectacular music videos because they carry the load when it comes to anything musical. Even stage performances Bang Chan remixes them himself.
Man, I can't wait to see Skz when they play london this summer. Thunderous ranks high in my favourites list, along with Red lights (just Bang Chan and Hyunjin), Charmer and Sorry I love you. You should check out Xdinary Heroes too, they're a band in the same company as stray kids that have a metal pop kinda vibe. I'd recommended they're debut song Happy Death Day and their song Strawberry cake.
Well if you love their songs, you'll love their videos of their antics and pranks and funny moments. They have so many of them, I love the one where they have to sled down a hill with a pitcher of water.
This is my daughters absolute favourite she named her cat 소리꾼 (sorigun). 40 year old metalhead here loving StrayKids to the fullest. This song is probably an answer by our boys because they get criticised for making noisy music. Recommendation: cheese, hall of fame and megaverse
Thunderous had a lot of references from Korean old culture, they were genious adding all of those elements in the song and the video. I believe that you will like Social Path feat Lisa, the Japanese singer, the one singing some Kimetsu No Yaiba openings and endings.
If you’re interested in rap at all, the song 3RACHA is apparently based off UK rappers and the Drill genre. If you’re loving these transitions though, Maniac, Back Door and Case 143 are insaaaane
I'm enjoying watching your journey into Stray Kids and that you have quickly been able to pick up on their message. Their music is such an experience few people are able to absorb the lyrics on the first watch. You've covered some of my favs, so I'll recommend the following: LaLaLaLa (there is also a rock version, but I'd start with the original MV) Venom Easy Victory Song Maniac Megaverse Circus Domino (no MV, but the dance practice is awesome) Miroh District 9 Double Knot I could go on and on, they are just that good
I don't consume songs with artists talking about this sort of stuff because of the vocabulary that they use. Specifically, Latin songs are so vulgar (I'm from 🇦🇷) But, when it comes to Stray Kids, the lyrics are majestic, impeccable and I always look for this song just because I feel empowered and with another attitude ❤❤ Just is the way of their composing and the creativity... It changes my day. Another songs like this are Maze of memories, Cheese, Comflex ❤❤
Love stray kids they are my fav in Kpop. For another group I would highly recomend Seventeen. They are a really big group (13 members) but produce incredible music and are known for their dancing. Very different style from Stray kids. They actually did a Killing Voice video with Dingo that is about 20 mins running through some of their most popular tracks and give a really good overview of their work.
you have to react to side effects and district 9, both by stray kids these songs are from when they began as a group (in fact, district 9 is their debut song), and i think you'll like them if you're a metalhead
Considering you come from a rock/metal background you NEED to listen to lalalala by skz. There's 2 versions; the regular kpop one which has an mv, and the "rock version". Maybe you can first watch the MV without lyrics, and then a lyric video for the rock version (since the lyrics for both versions are the same). I have a feeling you'll really love it
You should definitely react to their songs Megaverse and Lalala, since that's songs from their newest album and it's in their "rock star" era. More touch of badass rock vibes from Stray Kids I can imagine you will love! :D :D
SKZ and Ateez are my favourite groups, hands down. Thunderous was only finally unseated as my favourite SKZ song by LALALALA (especially the rock version). For Ateez, my #1 is Halazia, though Crazy Form is coming close. And if you like SKZ and Ateez, I suspect you might enjoy Dreamcatcher too - they’re the only girl group I really love, and I’ve described them to people as “Kpop meets Nightwish.” I’d recommend BOCA and Scream (the latter, if you go the MV route, tells you who is singing which line in the subtitles, very helpful for learning the members). Just jumped on your Patreon, I am looking forward to watching your kpop journey!!
I can recommend you Girl groups: Dreamcatcher KISS OF LIFE Aespa ITZY GIDLE ILLIT Mamamoo LE SSERAFIM NMIXX IVE Boy groups: Seventeen Enhypen TWS Tempest Cravity KARD (co-ed group two Girl and two boys)
One of top favorites of mine. SORI KUN!!! (and you want suggestions? These might be on patreon or you've already watched but these are two of many favorites, so of course I recommend them. "Double Knot." So good. And dance practice is one of the best--I love it just as much or more than MV. Same for "Easy." Also so good. And I love the dance practice, MV is good but I watch the dance practice the most. So, yeah, when you're checking out stuff, don't miss dance practices. Unfortunately they usually don't have CC but full view choreo is awesome!)
Next to SKZ, you should try ITZY's Cheshire, Cake & Born to Be! They are from the same company as Stray Kids. After ITZY, you need to see (G)I-DLE! I would recommend Lion, Super Lady & Tomboy! Two members of this group participated in League of Legends KDA which is a virtual girl group for the game! They have m/v s as well for their performances too
I think you’d really enjoy Xdinary Heroes, they’re more of a k-band rather than a K-pop group. I’d especially recommend ‘freakin bad’ and ‘break the brake’!!
There is a band that came out late 2000s early 2010s called beast (later renamed highlight) I would like to see you listen to beast shock and beast fiction is another one I think you would like.
I love your exploration into kpop. It’s very similar to what mine looked like. Stray kids, Ateez and BTS. You may also like xikers, seventeen, and xdinary heroes imo
Hello I find you today. I watch your TxT video and this from Stray kids. You need to watch Hellevator, because this song is their predebut and was produced in the survival show. In this show Stray kids was formed. Back then Stray kids was nine, but one member leave the group. Anyways. I love also Scars and Voices, both of these songs are very deep in theire message. So yeah. Also Social path, because this song is a social critic in the nutshell. When you like deep meaning, than you need to check out Hans Solos lik Alien, Run, wish you back and Volcano, but also felix deep end and bang chan hate to admit. This songs are all great. Stay as your are. Greetings Angel
una youtuber Liri Onni tiene un video en el que enseña toda la tradición coreana en este video, esta en español, pero con suerte las cc en ingles se entiendan
Please please please, react to Venom, Easy and Cheese! Honorary mention to Red Lights and Maknae on top that are side projects that I think you’d enjoy.
Thunderous is a direct response to criticism about their sound. Stray Kids distinct style was frowned upon by the gatekeepers of the traditional K-"Pop" style who were enraged that a bunch of talented teens had decided to follow their own creativity instead of being another copy and paste group. SKZ's debut song M/V, District 9, has the concept of breaking out of a facility where everything is the same. Their Miroh M/V also has the concept of an insurrection against the established hierarchy. Their music was labelled as construction, pot and pans noise, etc., which was very ignorant and biased because they already also had several very meaningful songs in their discography, so in God's Menu they use the construction, kitchen, experimental lab, and competitive car racing for their M/V concept. LOL! I believe it was after God's Menu that they were recognized as their own colour, the mala taste genre, the group's distinctive sound. The term came from Malatang, a popular spicy Chinese soup. In God's Menu they use "this is our tang (soup)." Because God's Menu was again called noise music, SKZ responded with their album NoEasy/Noisy and created two songs to call out their critics, Cheese, and Thunderous. In Cheese they address some of the comments and in Thunderous they proudly claim the "noisemakers" status by adding loud, traditional Korean instruments to the track. I've heard that the Korean name of the song translates more like Noise Experts or Noise Masters, and Changbin says it clearly, Woodcutters there is nothing to cut here. Noise can indeed sound very good. Because they write their own lyrics, many of their songs reflect what is on their minds and, because they received so much hate for just wanting to follow their own inspiration, many of their lyrics, especially the title tracks, often brag about being the first and the best at what they do, but I think they have earned the right to remind people of that.
Which K-POP artists should we check out next? 🗯️
Should we check out more Stray Kids songs? 🗯️
If you like editing in mv's, then I advise you to watch Lalalala, Maniac and Case 143 by Stray kids
Yes, more Stray Kids please!
I suggest Maniac, LaLaLaLa, Megaverse and Venom next! And Red Lights for some depth. ❤
SEVENTEEN PLEASE
Seventeen. Hot, God of Music, Super, and Rock with You are good ones to start with.
Maniac... though you should make that a double reaction and watch their Oddinary Main Trailer first then Maniac for full effect.. the sound design on the trailer is crazy. You'll wish it was for an actual movie.

To an Australian "I'm not sorry, I'm dirty" means "I'm not sorry, I'm pissed off". This song is for their haters.
😮😮😮 i never knew this, thank you for the Australian knowledge 🙏🏻🙏🏻
It is in my top 10 ❤️ Having a top 5 with Stray Kids is hard! 🤣
My fav dose not even have a video, its the tortoise and the hare ❤️❤️❤️
You should react to VIXX... particularly Voodoo Doll
Thunderous - my Top 3 fav 🔥🔥
This is also referencing the Korean Goblins called "Dokkaebi" that only mess with evil people.
My fav MV from them story wise is Case 143! It's got references to horror films - sooooo GUUUUUDddddd
I'm enjoying watching your journey into Stray Kids and that you have quickly been able to pick up on their message. Their music is such an experience few people are able to absorb the lyrics on the first watch.
You've covered some of my favs, so I'll recommend the following:
LaLaLaLa (there is also a rock version, but I'd start with the original MV)
Venom
Easy
Victory Song
Maniac
Megaverse
Circus
Domino (no MV, but the dance practice is awesome)
Miroh
District 9
Double Knot
I could go on and on, they are just that good
You should check the dance practices when you see the MVs. This is one of my favorites and the 3rd song I heard from them.
They actually did a Killing Voice video with Dingo that is about 20 mins running through some of their most popular tracks and give a really good overview of their work.
you have to react to side effects and district 9, both by stray kids
these songs are from when they began as a group (in fact, district 9 is their debut song), and i think you'll like them if you're a metalhead
One of their earlier song Victory song has a great performance video i think you'd really like
Considering you come from a rock/metal background you NEED to listen to lalalala by skz.
I love stray kids!!!!!! ♥
Thunderous for me is top 3. Redlights, thunderous, Drive, Surfin, Hellevator. Cover me, megaverse Freeze
I can recommend you
Girl groups:
Dreamcatcher
KISS OF LIFE
Aespa
ITZY
GIDLE
ILLIT
Mamamoo
LE SSERAFIM
NMIXX
IVE
Boy groups:
Seventeen
Enhypen
TWS
Tempest
Cravity
KARD (co-ed group two Girl and two boys)
They also did the opening to Tower of God opening and Closing in Anime.
More Stray Kids please😊
One of top favorites of mine. SORI KUN!!!
(and you want suggestions? These might be on patreon or you've already watched but these are two of many favorites, so of course I recommend them. "Double Knot." So good. And dance practice is one of the best--I love it just as much or more than MV. Same for "Easy." Also so good. And I love the dance practice, MV is good but I watch the dance practice the most. So, yeah, when you're checking out stuff, don't miss dance practices. Unfortunately they usually don't have CC but full view choreo is awesome!)
NMIXX are also great group to look at. Their talent is unmatched imo and have delivered great songs!
The hole album (Noeasy) is really good, you should react to it !
Maniac ❤
There is a band that came out late 2000s early 2010s called beast (later renamed highlight) I would like to see you listen to beast shock and beast fiction is another one I think you would like.
I love your exploration into kpop. It’s very similar to what mine looked like. Stray kids, Ateez and BTS. You may also like xikers, seventeen, and xdinary heroes imo
you should definitely react to 'lalalala' their latest song
FELIX DEEP VOICE 🔥💙
You should also react to maniac by stray kids if you like the meanings behind their lyrics
una youtuber Liri Onni tiene un video en el que enseña toda la tradición coreana en este video, esta en español, pero con suerte las cc en ingles se entiendan
They have many great songs, but helevator is still one pf my favourites
Lalalala next, please
Please please please, react to Venom, Easy and Cheese! Honorary mention to Red Lights and Maknae on top that are side projects that I think you’d enjoy.
You should react to 'cheese' by stray kids
Please do straykids - Circus
In God's Menu they use "this is our tang (soup)."
Because God's Menu was again called noise music, SKZ responded with their album NoEasy/Noisy and created two songs to call out their critics, Cheese, and Thunderous.
Because they write their own lyrics, many of their songs reflect what is on their minds and, because they received so much hate for just wanting to follow their own inspiration, many of their lyrics, especially the title tracks, often brag about being the first and the best at what they do, but I think they have earned the right to remind people of that.
super junior, the are leyends xD and their ages...
At some point you'll have to react to theor debut song, hellivator
The song & the album are a diss to the many people who called their music, "NOISE"
please react to back door by stray kids. I'm sure you'll love it
