- Even if your Drifter isn't dating anyone from the Hex, they still can get a nice little New Year scene. My Drifter is best friends with everyone so she gets a hug from Kalymos on New Year's Day.

You're right, she died, maybe cloned, Albrecht left her, and now Eleanor uses her to find legacites (plus Lettie distrusts her around her rats).
@@dragondelsur5156 I don't think she was cloned, I think when she got sick Albrecht tried treating her using the void and a situation similar to the Cavia happened where she died but came back. Loid has dialogue about this

Eleanor isn't using her tho. Kalymos chooses to hunt Legacytes herself. Maybe it's because she as a Kavat eats infested.
@@dragondelsur5156I'm also not sure if Albrecht has really left her. We know she has voidpowers and can walk in and out of reality just like Albrecht. I think she's either staying with a purpose. Or maybe she's really just happier here.

But brevity aside, this just further proves that Kalymos has pretty much been abandoned by Albrecht, and left in the Tenno/Drifter's care. Because when I was romancing Lettie, she was super suspicious of Kalymos as "Albrecht's spy". But I'm not surprised by Lettie's bias since she's the resident mouse lady.
Welp, next month I'm forgetting relationships so I can get the Kalymos ending from now on. Sorry Amir, but cat hugs are best hugs.

The funny thing is that according to Jade Shadows, the Helminth has somehow pranked Ordis at some point, since when Ordis runs through the names, he is notably nervous at all but one name: Helminth.
He doesn't _JUST_ Sound annoyed, but he sounds _Tired,_ as if somehow, Helminth had not Pranked Ordis only ONCE, but _MULTIPLE_ times! XD

@ I really do hope they expand on dating the hex just a little bit more. I know warframe isn’t a dating sim, but once you get the hex member you’re dating to move in and you’ve cleared all their chats, they just stand there and say some lines here and there, which will definitely get boring at a point and make that character feel more like a generic NPC rather than a well-fleshed out character. I’d rather not reset with how messed up it is, but there isn’t really much reason to keep dating a Hex member if they just stand there and I can’t interact or do anything with them.

This is what I used: Commodore Prime Cuirass, Masker' Theodolite Crewsuit Sleeves, and Saita Prime Leggings. Not shown but I used Maru Obi Ephemera to complete the look. Hair is just the default Drifter hair.

Yeah, but how did you actually trigger the end of year thing?
Unless it’s bugged, I believe you get it by interacting with the POM-2 in the backroom, choose whether to remember or forget the relationships, and after you make the decision the message/cutscene should appear. If it doesn’t you might need to leave the backroom and come back, or maybe you’re one of the unlucky few who got the thing totally bricked and need to wait for the fix
And you need to have completed the Hex finale, obviously

Haha, I'm surprised people like my Drifter's face. Primary is Drifter Visage 012, and secondary is Drifter Visage 001. Face blend 0.67. I went with a fairly neutral color for lip and accent colors.

@@dilucsama2989 I think some people ran into that bug even though they fulfilled the requirements to get a NY kiss. Megan mentioned on Twitter that they're looking into getting kisses sent to players who didn't receive them.
To get this particular scene, I reached best friend status with every member of the Hex, but I'd imagine you probably just need to reach best friend status (rank 5 + chemistry + enough dialogues) with at least one member of the Hex and not be dating any of them.
As for unlocking New Year's kiss cutscene in general, date a member of the Hex. After they patched the bug, the earliest you can ask someone out is at rank four and acquired Trusted status with Aoi, Amir, or Quincy. In my experience I didn't get the opportunity to ask Arthur, Eleanor, or Lettie out until I reached rank five.
EDIT: So we got official confirmation that to get this scene, the player needs to reach bestie status with everyone in the Hex and not date anyone:

Yes, all platform but currently there a bug on the road to 1999 that is being stuck on the new war quest bug on switch only right now iirc
The fact that even if you dont date anyone the devs refused to have you celibrate new years alone is what amazes me these devs really put a lot of love and care to this game and you can see that where ever you go🥹
