Love your work. Great boombox. I have a Sony FH-100W and Sony CFS-W800 both like new working excellent and current restoring a Sony CFS-9900 but the tape mech needs some TLC some of the plastic levers have gone brittle.
I have as well SONY CFS-9000 Mint condition with box, but cassette deck reverse is not wok properly. I ordered 3 new belts. First i will replace the belts then I will see what next step.

What is the best boombox with graphic bands equaliser? The Panasonic RX-SC700 sounds sweet. I try to have something better with cd option if possible. Please help.
Rhoods Kevin I also have the same questions as yours, but I like to tell you that it is a very difficult task to find the best model with graphic equalisers.
According to my knowledge I would make one hint, try the model National/Panasonic RX C 100.
I kind of like the way you let the radio say everything, and you stay silent.

in my Rx-c53d model the spectrum analyser does not light up completly only the upper lights light up , What should i do?

you can buy boombox with USB & Bluetooth on Amazon or other electronic web site. I only have boomboxes with cassette, which was made from 1974 to 1985
I had seen the model RX C53D but its appearance is much different from this one. It has a digital LCD display and 5 LED indicator. Here there was only one letter of the model number differently, L instead of D but the looks and features got big differences. I am very confused. Can anyone please help me? Thanks.
The one with D was the model that having XBS, like the C51D and C53D, while the C51 and C53 are non XBS model, that’s basically the main differences, and also the C51&53 sounds clearer, while the C51D&53D have stronger bass performance

Not uncommon for the auto reverse to not working then free up. Might be a leaf switch needs cleaning or the tape head rotation shaft. no big deal. :)
I will try to clean switch and tape head rotation. If helps i will make new video :)
