Audio Engineer here. You basically just need to turn the gain down on the microphone. When it comes to sound there is gain and volume at play. Gain is the size of the hole letting the sound waves past and volume is how much you're amplifying those waves. Make your hole smaller and you get less ambient sound.
I'm surprised TSM doesn't have someone who can just set all of this up for him considering they produce a ton of content and have a bunch of streamers signed with them
Yep, as one of the many owners of the Yeti, seeing streamer's mics from the back makes it super obvious that almost zeroing the gain gets good results. Clear example for me is Phreak vids.

you should be able to add noise gate, noise suppression, suppressor, and gain filter on obs. these filters will lower the amount of background noise it picks up (both things like clicking and leena's voice)
There are a few easy things you can do to improve your quality of life with your new mic. Lowering the input gain, putting it closer to your mouth, and adding a noise gate in whatever software you're recording to is where i would start. Would be happy to help with set up.

Why doesn't he just buy a boom-mic that also acts as the headset cable? It's literally 35 bucks (www.v-moda.com/us/en/products/boompro-microphone) and provides better quality than both of his current options.

Download a noise gate for the Mic. My only real stance is to use the "good" mic for the LCS broadcasts and the Gaming headset for Solo Q.

You could try nvidia's rtx voice. My mic picks up the sound of me breathing and the keyboard but rtx voice filters them out.
"Nvidia Broadcast" helps cancel all that background noise for your mic
