Glad to see someone else using that method to get into the screen without full disassembly. Make sure to apply some pressure to the screw driver to get bite and not damage the screw head slot. Same when you put them back in too. Magnetic screw driver definitely helps with that. Also Sorin missed a possibly damaged cap near the fuse and might have been a second one next to it too.
Hi Sir Sorin, i just wanted to thanks to you, all of your video is very informative, i learned a lot of things like this from you, Im from the Philippines althought i am graduate as a Computer Technician but unfortunately i didint practice it, i am only updating my so called electronics skills base from your video..😅😅😅..again thank you..
That feeling when you find the route to the solution, and than, you find all perfectly fine......"thats bad" ahhaahhahaahaahaahhaah Thx Mr. Sorin, i love the way you do your job...its is probably 30 year you are repairing stuff, and still the curiosity to see whats under a random tape...😆 You are a special man!
Hi sorin, I'm a very good fan of your Chanel and I will like to specially thank you for your good work and for all the effort you put in uploading all those educative videos. I must confess, your videos has helped me alot in my repair business. As a matter of fact, I have more than 80% of your videos downloaded on my device. But dear Sorin, I will love it if you can do a video on How to disable SHORT Protection on a power supply. I recently got a new power supply ( 1502DD series) but it's seriously limiting my work becos I can't use it to find short on any shorted iPhone. Thank you so much for your contribution and help towards my successful electronic repair business. ....................Your very good fan from NIGERIA.

I really love your videos Sir. you are really doing a great job. please, i would love you to do a video on how to use a Power supply in PC and Smart phone repairs,. and also, Understanding a multi-metre for beginners. Thank you and i look forward in seeing these video's.
After replacing components in a switch mode power supply, use a 100W bulb as the fuse in series to avoid explosions and damaging of the new components. its has to light a bit as the capacitor charges and then off, but if it stays on then there is still a fault.
Hi Sorin, How do you check a Toshiba Satellite L360D-213 System unit screen please as the LED cable is actually in the screen and I don't want to do anything to the screen without knowing what to do. Can you please do one so that I can see how it is done please. The computer comes on but there is no visual.
Hello I have pc specialist recoil lll that's faulty the issue I'm facing is when I start the laptop the screen starts blinking on and off it boots into the bios just fine and I can't see any lines or artifacts I took the screen apart and measured the VLEDIN and the voltage wasn't stable going between 17~19 vdc so I then thought let's put a stable 19v and see what happens and the back light got brighter and my power supply started to click matching the screen blinking my thoughts where maybe its something to do with the power supply chip on the screen or the super I/O chip but as a complete beginner I've reached a dead end any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
NIce video Sir, but unfinished. the flex must be checked 1st, then the fault goes to the burnt LEDs(as I can see VLED supply is ok). Anode of VLED cant reach to the led line. there are several Cathode (3,4) but only one Anode in this type of flex connection. Anyway I think LEDs are ok ,because there are several parallel rows of led series(mostly 8led in one series). so all of the leds cant be turned of at a time though some leds are burnt. Only we have to check Anode line of the flex after opening the panel, nice work. keep it up . I am interested to learning other things form you. Your student from India.

Hi Sorin! Back in the day, many, many moon's ago; HP made great products and I had owned several PC's and Laptops.
