Former army chief and president retired general Pervez Musharraf passed away at a private hospital in Dubai, Dunya News reported while quoting the diplomatic sources. He was 79.
The former general had been admitted to the American Hospital, Dubai. Musharraf was admitted to Dubai hospitals more than once in the past. He had been facing prolonged battle with the rare disease amyloidosis.
The former military ruler was hospitalised for three weeks in June last year.

Regarding East Pakistan I am very clear, it was political + Govt power failure of Ayyub Khan & Yahya Khan and Bhutto:
1- Mujeeb-ur-Rehman was ally of Fatima Jinnah, due to rigging in election by Ayub Khan in 1964, she lost the presidential election and Mujeeb-ur-Rehman was portray in news as traitor, which is totally wrong and base less.
2- In 1970 election Mujeeb-ur-Rehman was winner of election with 161 seats vs 81 seats of Bhutto/PPP, it was duty of Yahya Khan being president and organizer of election to transfer power to Mujeeb as PM and force Bhutto (with Fauji danda) to accept the election result and take role of opposition leader.
3- Instead of transferring power to Mujeeb-ur-Rehman - Fauji danda was use against Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and people in East Pakistan. Bhutto, Yahya and establishment leadership of 1970-71 is responsible for Fall of East Pakistan - why the elite leadership of establishment didn't choose to intervene and impose Marshall-law in the whole country and put Yahya Khan & Bhutto behind the bar, as done in 1977 (by Zia-ul-Haq) and 1999 (by Musharraf) to save country (united Pakistan from actual traitors; today it will be a country of 470 millions Muslims.

اور جو کوئی مسلمان کو جان بوجھ کر قتل کرے تو اس کا بدلہ جہنم ہے کہ مدتوں اس میں رہے اور اللہ نے اس پر غضب کیا اور اس پر لعنت کی اور اس کے لئے تیار رکھا بڑا عذاب،
And whoever slays a Muslim on purpose, his reward will be hell - to remain in it for ages - and Allah has wreaked wrath upon him and has cursed him and kept prepared a terrible punishment for him.
