I turn 50 this year and have live my life so far on the lines from this song."I don't know my future after this weekend and I don't want to" and so far its being an amazing ride
this was shot in new york 👌after all these years this video brings back so much great memorys working behind the seens as a sound engeener for the video miss ya bjork 😙
are you still working in the biz !? I may have work happening but i will keep posting ideas in the mean while!! keping contact with any potential collaborators!! and yes is bjork is really captivating here !!
I love when she growls. What an original. Bought this CD in November 1995. Its not the CD I actually wanted to buy from Bjork. I wanted some other one. But I bought this one. And these songs wrapped around my brain into my life.. Its my go to November album.
I was dancing at The Ice Palace on Fire Island when this song came out. I remember dancing with Herb Ritts to this song. I would hit him on the chest slightly and sang the words as we danced. That was the first night we met and the first weekend we spent together. I miss him.
This was the original version I saw back in the UK and yes it was on late at night now how many artist can keep your attention just with a single continuous shot from the back of a flat bed truck!!?? ENJOY THE NIGHT !!
All Audio maxed out and IT NOT LOUD ENOUGH!!!! This piece of Music is one of Bjork's best because it shows off all the Notes of her voice that is HER! (well done contron for uploading this, massive hats off to you)
the colours look richer and a bit more saturated. the contrast of all the twinkling lights in the buildings the truck passes in the lower natural light conditions against bjork in front of the spot lighting... richer and more immersive looking. the daytime one has a bit more energy and movement and is less subdued and more bleached out looking. both good in different ways.
I'm glad that they released this unfinished video version but the complete official one where she's moving and dancing back and forth over the distance of the long flat bed truck is truly amazing.
@@Rocketjay12 bwahaha :-) ※ Nevertheless, some people have synaesthesia, when one sees colours upon hearing notes. One can regard this video to be _with_ colours, despite being black and white. Imagine, that upon seeing some photos, one would recall a certain smell, such, that a photo or video would 'come with a smell'. The same with colours - Streetlighs and windows would naturally gravitate towards white, while the backlights of American automobiles would be all red. The charm of black-and-white 1990s music videos is, that they won't look dated for decades. So many 1990s music videos were of such high quality, that even videos with colour, despite being easily recognisable as dated, can pass the test of time even to this day. I could attribute some of the reasons for this to be the 1990s video directors' relatively sparse use of colour, their sticking to shades of primary colours, and the nature of often using real (tho expensive) film, in which colours don't appear saturated, as they would in contemporary music videos.
Hey, thanks for leaving a comment! You can find this video on the DVD called: Director's Series Vol. 7 - Work of Director Stéphane Sednaoui. It is a pretty good DVD with a lot of his videos and short films. I completely agree that the original version is far, far, better! It's still nice to see a different take on it. She is truly an amazing artist! :]
As most video and music lovers know.. A music video has to be created with 10's of 100's of shots. This is one str8 through shot that wasn't added to the 'daytime' video of the FlukeMinimix, Big Time Sensuality.
I enjoyed it!! I enjoyed it every time I listen to this video. I just love Bjork's singing! :) She is Absolutely mesmerizing and as for her dancin on a Flatbed Truck in the middle of traffic...well, that takes courage..Hardcore!!
Kindiah I know! I loved the frozen boxes 📦 part! Lol! Bring back our F&S on TH-cam. Their Mostly Haunted video is hilarious too, but it has been taken down as well.
She's awesome......some clips I cannot even get but when I'm hearing something like is this or Violently happy......I'm glad there's not repeat button :D ...............I would get mad :D
I turn 50 this year and have live my life so far on the lines from this song."I don't know my future after this weekend and I don't want to" and so far its being an amazing ride
Same here mate. Same Here..
Tony Shannon hope you had a good 50th many of her songs guide me with hope and wonder and unapologetically being true to self
Still alive Tony mate?
🙋♂️
Well said pal
she is easily the most important artist of my/our generation. stunning presence.
Technically not mine, but I'll never accept Gen Y or Z into my life. So much in the 80s/90s was pure gold, music wise.
this was shot in new york 👌after all these years this video brings back so much great memorys working behind the seens as a sound engeener for the video miss ya bjork 😙
Why do you miss her, she is still making music and videos and LIVE show? But yes this song brings so many memories!!!
are you still working in the biz !? I may have work happening but i will keep posting ideas in the mean while!! keping contact with any potential collaborators!! and yes is bjork is really captivating here !!
Mo Ramzi ur a sound engineer behind scenes, but can't spell: "engeener", "seens" or Björk
Sounds like she was great to work with. Btw, good job on the song! 💽🔊🎼
Mo Ramzi ❤️
What an amazing and original talent she is. Brings back such great, fun weekend memories!!

This one will NeVeR ever age !!!
Many women are pretty, but Björk is beautiful because of her mannerisms.
And she also really beautiful, matter of taste of course.
She always reminds me of my love that died at 25.
I love when she growls. What an original. Bought this CD in November 1995. Its not the CD I actually wanted to buy from Bjork. I wanted some other one. But I bought this one. And these songs wrapped around my brain into my life.. Its my go to November album.
so incredibly sexy, sensual maybe when she growls Geoff
"November album..." I so get that.
Saw her Live at the Reading Festival in 1995 and she blew me away. Still listen and am still in awe in 2019 😊

I'm so glad there's two versions to this video. Both equally as moving...

"The colors"? It's black and white for fuck's sake.
Never mind your last trip though, what did you make of the video?

je ne m'en lasse pas meme apres toutes ces années, juste dommage que Bjork se soit éloignée des music qu'elle faisait ces années là....

Fantastic. Love this Bjork. Happy birthday!
Love this song...... Bjork you rock
From the primordial volcanic fields, and pristine glaciers of windswept Iceland, we receive the gift of Bjorks "sensuality".
Thank you Bjork.
I see that someone from the tourism industry is here to appreciate the uniquely haunting voice of Bjork.
@@hamidshehzad3788 I'm closer to the trucking industry than the tourist industry ! One doen't need to be an artsy fartsy to enjoy good art !
Staggering! Pure fucking talent!
That she is, no doubt about it.
