I dont know why I reacted weirdly when you said GOT7 isn't the fan-service type of group maybe because they're not the type of group that focuses on the perfect idol image that focuses on like the boyfriend vibes like other groups. They treat their fans as best friends especially this recent years and those idol-fans interactions that GOT7 dies with their fans on Instagram and Twitter really is the best. We really have a different type of relationship with GOT7. Also yes, GOT7 are all vocalists, rappers, and dancers. Everyone is just simply amazing ✨

1:15 i think your friend meant that when GOT7 does things like this, they don't really think of it as "fan service". i mean it is fan service but they don't really think of it as work or as something they're obligated to do, we appreciate all the "fan service" they do because you can tell it's sincere and it's just them, they're all naturally goofy and lowkey flirts.
and like what someone said earlier in the comments, GOT7 could really care less about "idol image", they don't really care if they're not "perfect" for everybody. they only want to be perfect for ahgases, they only strive to be the men that ahgases won't regret admiring. and GOT7 and ahgases relationship are just one of a kind, and different from the usual. we don't claim them as our boyfies or hubbies, and they don't call us their girlfriends or wifeys. they can call us their home, paradise, bestfriends, and other sweet-ish nicknames but they also still remember to remind us of our boundaries and limits. like when some ahgases try to propose to them and ask them to marry them, the sevens would say a big fat "no, i'm sorry" unlike other idols out there that feeds the delusions of their fans. GOT7 and Ahgases relationship are really just kinda wholesome and very heartwarming.
Oh yeah, I definitely know that it was mostly meant to be like… that they don’t do things just to appease the fans. But I just felt the need to point out that they do still do some fanservice, just the kind they feel comfortable with
You got it right, Youngjae can never lipsync. He always sings live even when it's unnecessary and he sometimes annoys his members by singing out of the blue when one of their songs is playing and it's just really cute to see.

Besides Got7, JUS2 and JJ Project, Jay B has his soundcloud songs as Def. (defsoul), a crew called Offshore and now his solo stuff as JAY B from Higher. And Mark is going to have an album soon!!

For his solos I LOVED « switch it up » « BTW » « Sunrise » ( all of these 3 have videos) sunrise have a short version but the audio is actually longer and « ride » doesn’t have a video but there’s a live from their tour.
For Mark solos I loved « One in a million » and « Omw» omw is like sunrise for Jayb it has a video but the studio version is longer.
I loved also the subunits he was in like the song « god has return + mañana » ( there’s a live at a concert you should react too) and « nightmare » that also was a live from MAMA I believe with Jackson and bam bam.

Jay B has a bunch of solo performances out there, some of my favorite are Rainy, Drive, Fame (the live one but the dance practice is also amazing).
Mark do has solo performances but is more difficult to find, Outta my Head is amazing, he also made a solo version of Let Me and My Home ahh and his new single is coming out soon on November 12th ^^

That specific boyfriend version was the exact video that got me into got7. Before, I knew of them but I wasn't really a fan of the music, but I loved their personalities so much that I had to look into them.
This is one of my favorite GOT7 songs tbh. Like you said, it's a jam. Especially during live concerts. And their practice video here made me love it more because I love how the sound of their stomps and claps were on point. It sounded like they're one.
Wanted to suggest JB and Mark's WHY performance. It's their duet in their Turn Up album. I know you wanted separate ones but I just wanted to thrown that in here (but it's a Japanese song so that might be blocked not sure).

At my age (older than them) when I saw this when it came out saying is too cute and they are trying way too hard but wasn't thinking anything else because 10-15 years in prison was not something I wanted😂.
As for fanservice, they did a lot of direct normal fanservice but it gradually slowed down as they got older now I think the relationship is more friendship like we are their adoring little sister or brother (no matter the age) that they take care of. They changed the ahgabong for that reason.
This song was actually supposed to be JJProject's CB song after Bounce 🥺 We could have gotten a JJP version 😭 But I love this song so much, it's one of my favourite songs for their older discopgraphy 😍

I thought that too with GOT7's and SHINee's songs, sometimes the live version is what got me hooked. GOT7 is my first bias group, and I just got into SHINee after Don't Call Me and I am currently in a rabbit hole with their older stuff and I'm loving it! Definitely loving the recent crossovers between these 2 groups. Youngjae and Jinki in a musical, Youngjae and Key dancing to Vibin', Jinyoung and Minho in the same drama ❤️💛❤️💛

when they just debuted they did fan service, i guess it was something the company wanted plus as rookies at that time fan service was a huge thing but as they grow older they didn’t care about their idol image anymore, yes they love ahgases but they are not pro hardcore fan service anymore (except bambam lmao he’s all for it my man wakes up everyday and chooses violence)

It is cool that you are starting to figure out their voices. They do have pretty distinct voices but I still get them confused sometimes. From their earlier songs I think Jay B and Youngjae sound similar at times. And then I sometimes mix up Bambam and Mark. But once you listen to them more and watch live performances you’ll definitely figure out who it who.
I’m totally with you on not knowing if I like a song and then liking it after watching a MV, dance practice, or performance. There are so many songs from artists I’m not sure about and then I see it in a different form and fall in love!
I also recommend the flight log trilogy. I think those videos/storyline take your love for them over the top!
