Every villain needs an island lair, so pick your paradise and put your own sinister stamp on it! Shape the internal structure of your hazardous hideaway to fit your play-style, and construct wonderfully wicked devices for your minions to put to use.
Atrocious Anti-Heroes!
Competence isn’t going to cut it when you’re running an evil operation. As you expand and train your minion workforce, you can create new specialists to help further your evil plans! Need something a little more…intimidating? Recruit powerful Henchmen that complement your play style; every mastermind needs a right hand…or several, in fact!
Dastardly Devices!
The Forces of Justice are annoyingly punctual, so supplement your brute force by researching and developing a series of trap networks! Send those do-gooders spinning with a Pinball Bumper, or put the chomp on them with the Venus Spy-Trap. While one trap is good, more is…evil-er. Combo your traps to banish intruders for good!

Blitz boss, I think the laser trap needs to be further back so it has more time to activate, cause they just speed past it and the lasers don’t turn on quick enough.
yeah and the lasers will stay on as long as people are in it so if the laser was at the back it would stay on till it kills them or the fan turns off..

pretty sure the laser wall was doing nothing to the agents, probably because they were force-moved through the wall thus triggering its "sensor" late

For the laserwall to deal damage, you need to push them into it so they stay on the trap, not just through :)

The lasers don't do anything because they activate when someone is standing in front
of them,and the fan pushes them really fast so the lasers don't activate in time!
So you need to do something to fix that!This video was great btw!

Besides capturing and killing agents, you can also "distract" them.. the valets do it, in the front. They might leave without ever entering the lair. You can train valets like guards and scientists.
I figured out that Max's ability "Work harder" prioritizes the jobs within it's circle, so if you want people to always be in control room or you want people to set priority to building items or rooms, they will set that job as #1 above all other jobs in base as long as it is activated.
It does exactly that. It improves work speed and makes them priority.

@@Evanescoduil all but max also boost the units in range with ivans "do it now" beign his aura he buffs the armor of minions so if i do remember to use it i will do so and have him aura near a fight. should keep the yellow suit body droping down.

This guy is having WAAAAYYY too much fun with the traps
in Evil Genius 1 one of the classic designs was to make a ring of fan traps to spin intruders around and around and around. Got a lot of combo points that way.

Pretty sure the lasers aren't doing any damage because they're damage over time and the fab causes them to fly right through it while they trigger the cooldown.
I think it needs to be kin the main hall instead of the darts or at the end of the trap hall so it hits them as they fall down.

Hey blitz, your trap tunnel is great. But I think you should switch around the darts and the laser wall for more damage possibilities. I think it will be better in the long run. Love the vids and keep up the great work!

Swap the lasers and darts, darts stop after few sec, lasers keep burning longer, you can also narrow the corridor so they have to walk in front fan closer, have it 2 wide there instead of 4.

You should try flipping the laser and the dart traps around at the entry way.
Looks like the fan is pushing them past the lazer wall even though it's activating. In my playthrough I'll try something similar but put the lazer wall in the back so they are forced to stand in it.

You should've put the laser wall at the end of the corridor because agents would have to stay in it for a while for the damage to come through
I believe the problem is the fan blows the enemies past the laser so fast it can't react in time. I suggest putting the laser wall in the back or putting another one there.
