To be fair it appeared he went into more of a blocking mode, or just a plain "I'm gonna put my huge body in between the 11 defenders and the ball and let my hands guy try to recover this" mode. It wasn't a terrible decision on his part. If the HB would've dived for it instead of letting it roll so much they would've recovered the ball.

I disagree, yeah sure Tomlins Steelers are masters when it comes to playing down to their opponents and choking in unnecessary fashion. But name one head coach who held his franchise consistently at a high level apart from Belichick (14 straight non-losing seasons). Also don't forget all the talent he "wasted" like AB, TJ etc. flourished under him in the first place. But man they just haven't been able to execute in the most important moments, especially the last couple of seasons.
