The most important thing I got out of this video is that Eeve, Vernias and Nick play way worse than CPUs because to make Brent lose his mind its an achievement.
Cpus are cracked in the older games. They can all probably outmash the rest of the gang outside of Brent. Especially in the Minecart minigame, where they are at max speed the whole time.
Anyone who has attempted MP3 story mode on Hard or Super Hard difficulty knows how hard the CPUs cheat in this game. Many minigames become borderline unwinnable (most button mashers) and the CPUs can literally see where hidden blocks are and will go out of their way for them if they are in range. The CPUs can also take bonus stars into account when they choose who they targer with boo, so if you're in 3rd place, but have enough bonus stars at the time to put you in 1st the CPUs will target you. This is also my own personal feelings, but if you have CPU minigames turned off they will win Game Guy minigames way more often than they lose them.

I think that it’s safe to say that Luigi is the true protagonist of Story Mode in Mario Party 3. He replaces one of the other five characters if they’re the one being used. Plus his love interest and arch rival are the two main antagonists of the main story plot. It definitely helped him make his first few steps out of the shadows and into the spotlight and fleshed him out a lot.
Additionally it is implied on the Waluigi’s Island board that Luigi used to own the place as well. Also Mario Party 3 is one of Waluigi’s overall most prominent appearances in the series, considering he actually managed to beat Bowser in a fight with only his limbs and he is the only character in the game to have a board named after him.
I completely agree with this logic. I pick a character to use for each Mario Party game and use them exclusively. Peach for 1, Yoshi for 2, the list goes on. In Superstars, I use Peach on the boards from 1 and Yoshi for the ones from 2 and Luigi in Woody Woods. I use Luigi in 3 because of how story mode plays out but also because Luigi is my favorite character in the Mario series and 3 is my favorite Mario Party.

As someone who played this game way too much when it originally came out, the coins you lose from Character Spaces depend on what turn it is. I like to use it as indicator to see how much time is left without needing to pause the game. Here's how it goes; Turn 1-5 - 3 Coins Turn 6-10 - 5 Coins Turn 11-15 - 8 Coins Turn 16+ - 10 Coins

Game 1: pure chaos Game 2: chaos but to the surprise of nobody moment Duel: A narrow s-rank win by Boo and Bob-omb. Still chaos though For the future if Boo gets directly attacked (meaning front to back or back to front) he retaliates back at the person attacking him with the same a amount of damage dealt to Boo. The only ones who don't feel the blow is Mr. Blizzard ( cause he attacks front to front and back to back) and Chain Chomp (if boo isn't directly taking thr attack)
So we all know that King of Skill is overwhelmingly good at Mario Party. The thing that this video proves is that no matter how good you are, Mario Party CPUs have that unreasonable RNG stat and are brutally effcient at working together to screw the player over. As someone who's played the MP3 story recently, the game is rough. I feel validated that even the Almighty King of Mario Party himself is struggling.
I absolutely adore mario party 3, it is the best mario party ever, story is great, items are plenty, and so good, great maps, incredible mini games, and an amazing and Hella fun extra content as in the duels
I started story mode of Mario Party 3 yesterday, and got S rank on my first attempt on the first board. As Nick would say, "I love being talented at video games."
As someone who did the story mode of Mario Party 4; yes, the Story Modes in Mario Party games are easily one of the most frustrating endurance matches of all time. Because of the absolute RNG nightmare the games are; It's not so bad with the right group of friends who enjoy trash talking and having fun. When it comes to the AI though, at times; it honestly feels like the AI just absolutely cheats to win. Their reaction speeds some of the time are downright questionable; and a lot of the time their luck feels deliberate like they can see the Hidden Blocks on the board. Also, keep in mind that the Reverse Mushroom is one of the most broken items in the game. It takes priority over board gimmicks; and often times can just outright bypass and select any path you want. It also allows you to double hit spaces like Boo; it's power is kinda absurd. As for the Duel Boards, which were honestly my favorite part of the game; I spent a lot of time messing around with it, because it's fun. Some of the partners have a few quirks. Toad makes it so you don't have to pay your opponent when you land on his spaces. Koopa Kid usually does nothing; but on a rare chance he'll turn into Bowser and score a devastating blow. Boo will counter attack anyone who hits him (even if he gets KO'd). Thwomp can insta-KO partners but can't attack your opponent. Whomp cannot attack; but defensive wise, he is super hard to defeat. Bomb Omb is a Kamikaze; but he ignores defensive partners and always attacks the opponent. Honestly, there is a lot of creative design in the way it works, and it's a ton of fun.
For reference Brent, in Duel Mode, the more turns that have passed, the more coins you lose from your opponent's spaces. It is not dependent on how many you/your opponent has.
And just recently I was watching a video about all the Mario Party single player stories, they're actually not bad at all! At least the older ones better than I expected. And I also have fond memories as a kid with single player, is legit fun and challenging for kid me xD. Anyways, can't wait for the next one! Hope this is a new long series!!
Yeah, Mario Party 3 is not only my favorite, but I liked the duel mode you get in this game but something to note for people is that the Reverse Mushroom can break boards if you use it right I mean its only 5 coins and you can do a lot with that item.
This is the first time i’ve have seen king of skill (without the other party crashers), and ”I See 🐢” that I really enjoyed how calm he really is without the others, hope to see more Mario Party 3 Stamp videos
Excellent editing (as always). I especidlly liked the Death Note, Nintendo Seitch communication error, and Fire Emblem edits, though there's probably some I'm forgetting.
Ever since they announced this coming to switch online, I knew we would get a Brent play through of this AND IT’S HERE!! I’m so excited to see the rest of the journey! 🤩

All I see is swearing
Jeff the Koopa and Hal the Goomba.
Congrats on clearing the 1st Battle Royale & Duel Maps on S Rank! Good luck in the future, & thanks for uploading this fun run video!
Amazing playthrough! Your determination to achieve the highest rank on hard difficulty is impressive. Can't wait to see more!🍄🧅
As someone who played this game way too much when it originally came out, the coins you lose from Character Spaces depend on what turn it is. I like to use it as indicator to see how much time is left without needing to pause the game. Here's how it goes;
Turn 1-5 - 3 Coins
Turn 6-10 - 5 Coins
Turn 11-15 - 8 Coins
Turn 16+ - 10 Coins
5:30 "They're throwing better than Eevee", what a fucking callout, dude 😂😂😂
9:49 "Turn one Hidden Block, not even TCNick3 could achieve this", I think you just jinxed yourself bro
12:34 the first good Brent hidden block
Lol that Slap Down moment was too good.
I can’t tell if it’s the sweetest or just a curse that the other Party Crashers spirits were in those CPUs during those two first games, Brent truly can’t get away from them
watching u play story mode is 50% being in awe and 50% dying of laughter at all the moments u could never plan for
At this point, i cant tell if Brent has the Vern Virus, or the Sophisticated Sickness as the both have the same symptoms:
4:11Consecutive low rolling
5:20 Your teammates throwing
8:07 Getting screwed over at the worst possible moment
No, he has Brent Bacteria
@@volvoman5262 That is a good name, now there is only 2 left
@@samuelbrown1283 no, This is from Vern video ( last place makes the rules ) where Brent kept getting low Rolls and blamed Vern Virus on it, but Vern said that at this point "it's Brent Bacteria". it was also referenced in the Memes ranking video on Party Crashers channel
@@volvoman5262 cool
@@volvoman5262 but now, we need 1 for nick
8:10 First I thought Brent was actually screaming lmao.
Damn the 1v1 thing was so interesting, hope to see more of that in the future
The ragecomic noise at the fishing minigame brought a smile to my face.
Someone might have told you this already but in story mode, CPUs actually ARE set to sabotage you in team minigames, if they are set to hard or higher
I KNEW IT
@@deyontemyers4109 The easiest way to tell is with Hide and Seek. No matter what you choose, your teammates will ALWAYS hide with you (at least in Very Hard difficulty).
20:55 nice one there Brent. If I was watching on my switch, I would have thought my console crashed🤣🤣🤣
EDIT: Good thing that Boo has apparently a COUNTERATTACK of some sorts XD (Fire Emblem joke ✅)
Game 1: pure chaos
Game 2: chaos but to the surprise of nobody moment
Duel: A narrow s-rank win by Boo and Bob-omb. Still chaos though
For the future if Boo gets directly attacked (meaning front to back or back to front) he retaliates back at the person attacking him with the same a amount of damage dealt to Boo. The only ones who don't feel the blow is Mr. Blizzard ( cause he attacks front to front and back to back) and Chain Chomp (if boo isn't directly taking thr attack)
9:38 Bro is Flabbergasted lmao.
6:54 Cue the Mortal Kombat 2 Death Scream
12:35 Love this transition lol
I absolutely adore mario party 3, it is the best mario party ever, story is great, items are plenty, and so good, great maps, incredible mini games, and an amazing and Hella fun extra content as in the duels
I started story mode of Mario Party 3 yesterday, and got S rank on my first attempt on the first board. As Nick would say, "I love being talented at video games."
I just tried cheep cheep chaser in nintendo switch on hard mode. Now I have mad respect for Brent, who makes it seems so easy most buttun smashers
I remember when Scott the Woz got a hidden block star on turn 1 in his Mario Party 2 video.
"THIS GAME IS FAIR AS ****"
20:50 this was my favorite part 😂
Now Brent knows what the others feel like when they play with him and Brent gets super lucky lol.
With how many SpongeBob references you make, I’m surprised that you never played Battle for Bikini Bottom on this channel
That duel buzzer beater ending was actually insane.
Ever since they announced this coming to switch online, I knew we would get a Brent play through of this AND IT’S HERE!! I’m so excited to see the rest of the journey! 🤩
That Duel Map victory... Even when the game decided that you don't get to have the best rank, you still managed to get it. Even RNG shenanigans can't beat Brent.
