Hi guys another great video. I really like the Jouef class 40. And have the Triang class 31 in blue. Thankyou for giving me another shout. Done no end for me. Thankyou so much. Carl.
The Joef 40 is nice, I would like a green 40 to go with my blue Joef and Lima ones. No probs with the shout out as it's great seeing what locos you have. Cheers Rick 🍻
Hi Simon, we always see something new and that's part of the fun. Even if we don't buy anything we always get an idea for future purchases. Cheers Rick
Superb video. I am in awe of your knowledge of models. My knowledge is nil on the production. I learn a lot from you and the videos. Great show. I must get out of Anglia. Takes forever to get into the real world. We have limited shows, envious, and hopefully we will be better soon when normality returns. If ever. Waiting eagerly for your next update, showing us your bargains. 🤩
Hi Paul, our production values are not the best but that is not what we are aiming for. We film pretty much live and always have lots of footage left over (probably enough for another video) it's always a struggle to edit the videos down to a manageable length. Apparent 10 minutes is the ideal length according to TH-cam. We aim for 15-20. We never do retakes unless something goes badly wrong as our conversations are not planned! We are down Norfolk again next month so you never know we might bump into you! All the best Rick ☮️🚂😀
Great video, it’s great to see what shows are going on up north, I went to a show in Milton Keynes a few weeks ago, lots of high priced secondhand items for sale, hope to travel up north soon, keep the videos coming.
Good day Pauline & Rick Look forward for your adventures in your filming & your talking about what you are looking at. Normally watch you while having breakfast here in West Australia. I have a large layout,OO British Model railway Never Ending on TH-cam. At lease you don't have your pet with you on hot days. We do not many toy fairs here . Keep up your good work.
Hi Peter, funny the TH-cam world isn't it, I can't pass your comment by without actually saying to myself "hold on somebody on the other side of the world is watching our videos!" Well I am glad you enjoy them and Peter and thanks for watching and I will take a look at your railway when I get home. 🚂☮️😀
Hiya Rick and Pauline Again I have to say absolutely love that you guys are talking whilst looking . I was born and breed in Bury and as a young lad my grandfather took me to the model train shop in Bolton...Great day for a young lad. Did you get yellow page wagon? Very iconic. Looked like a lot of stands there. Thanks for great video You guys stay safe Cheers Mark
Hi Mark I did get the Yellow Pages wagon. It brings back memories of the old TV advert with the lad getting his Dad the signal box (was it R308 lol!) We love having a natter as we go round and I can understand how it makes it more interesting for anybody watching. I think there is still a model shop in Bolton and there is a great second hand model shop at Bury Bolton Road Station on the ELR. Thanks for watching ATB Rick ☮️🚂😀
Looked like a great fair again, we have had our share of them but the pace hasn't really picked up here yet sadly. Looking forward to your next report, have a great sunday 😃😃😃
Hi Ed, thanks for your comment, fairs seems pretty busy here but some traders say they are a bit quiet. Have a great Sunday (we are off to the Stafford Toy fair) ☮️🚂😀
Hi, really enjoy watching your videos and what you find going round these shows! Great to see that you are also featuring some N Gauge in the latest videos😁😁 Would be interesting to see what you do with all your purchases, do you have a layout to show us? Cheers Gary
We are in the process of starting a layout and filmed a video last week on what we are doing. Unfortunately the video didn't turn out the way we hoped so we are filming it again this week. Thanks for watching Rick 🚂☮️😀
I passed on a gandy dancer the other day at £30! It's just not British enough to have on our layouts. I have a Big Track, the kids had one (long gone), so decided to rekindle the memory by by giving me one a few xmas's ago! (They started remaking them recently)
Yeah I wasn't sure about it although I could have sung "take me home gandy dancer!" to it! 😭 I never had a Big Track as I had a Brain Buggy instead. I hope the kids love it! Now that's something I haven't thought about in years. We went to the Stafford Toy Fair today and picked up a really nice blue tanker. ☮️🚂😀
I bought the Yellow Pages wagon and that's all. The day before we went to the Leyland Model Railway Show and I bought a couple of locos. All our purchases will be revealed in our vlog on Thursday. Cheers Rick ☮️🚂😀
Hi Stephen, we get to quite a few! At today's show in Stafford we saw good condition boxed Wrenn Pullman's for £9:50 each. They are usually £20-£25! Thanks for watching, all the events we attend are previewed in our vlogs or on the community page. Cheers Rick 🚂☮️😀
Hello I follow your videos regularly and I've been meaning to ask.. Do you have a website that you go to that gives you all the dates of when toy fairs and model railway shows are on and are located? Thanks Tim
Hi Tim, we use two websites in addition to checking on Google as they are not all listed. Our best source is the UK Model Directory - just go to the events section. However the BP Toy Fairs (Buxton, Haydock, Stafford etc) are not listed so just Google BP Toy Fairs. Thanks for watching Rick ☮️🚂😀

Cheers Neil ☮️🚂😀
