Really interested to see how joelinton will do if the takeover goes through and he gets a chance next year with a better team and manager. Think there's potentially a really good player there
I think he would do well in 4-2-3-1 as the middle CAM with saint maxim and Almiron either side and buy a world class striker.....Shelvey deep lying pirlo and longstaff then a world class RB and CB and I would be happy as a start to be honest 🤷♂️

I think I’m 1 of a very small population of people that rates joelinton a lot I really believe he will come good with more attacking football and support!!!
I wouldn't say that I rate him yet, he hasn't proven himself at the PL level, but I don't think he is necessarily a bad player - I've heard good things about him at Hoffenheim, so hopefully that quality eventually comes through
I'm with you I think he just hasn't had the proper formation or game plan that suits as he's more a false 9 not a goalscorer. I think people need to get behind him which will give him a great confidence boost, as his last few performances have been really good
Heg Greffley definitely needs a confidence boost you can see it in his body language he wasn’t enjoying himself hopefully this takeover goes through and we get some new signings and play to there strengths
I rate him also he just needs support up there

There is a player there somewhere in Joelinton would be interesting to see him under and different manger in a system where he isn’t isolated on his own
I think a positive from the takeover will be that we will get a top quality striker and the pressure will be off Joelinton - a change to a more attacking style will help as well

I would say that the only player we have who has potential to become world class is Saint-Maximin - his dribbling and 1v1 ability is of the best in the world

Want these three to succeed so much, just think they (mostly Joelinton) don't fit the game plan Bruce has
Formation change was needed, we look like much more of an attacking threat now with it rather than just a defensive unit. The best way I think these three can line up together would be ASM - Miggy - Joe, with Miggy in the 10 behind a striker. However, especially if the takeover goes through, I think that some players (especially Joelinton) will become expendable
NUFC comps one can hope, see what the takeover brings. If it goes through that is :/

More of a false 9 or a wide forward - main thing is that he is not similar to Rondon in that he plays best leading the line and on the shoulder of the last man (that doesn’t necessarily mean he is as good as Rondon though - clearly not judging by his goal scoring record)

Joelinton somehow finds a way to be invisible for 90 minutes a week. I know steve bruce effectively plays 10 at the back with wilson up front but like, cmon. Joelinton occasionally has good hold up play and gets an assist or 2 but it just feels like hes never positioned correctly

People hammer Joelinton, but it's not his fault the team play shite most games and offer him practically no service!
Stick him in a different formation (where we attack) I think he could do okay in black & white??
Fact that he isn't playing in his best position has had an affect on his performances, but that doesn't mean he isn't excused from criticism. He's just not the right type of striker that we needed (i.e. one that replicated the play style of Rondon)
I think of takeover goes through put him on the left maxi on the right miggy middle good striker, good box to box centre mid maybe a new RB focus on attack football instead of sitting deep that’s our best plan going forward imo

He needs to learn that just because he has beaten 5 players doesn’t give him the right to shoot every single time going for the spectator I’ve sat in the stands seeing him do this about 5-10 times per game when he could cross or play the simple pass I love the guy but he needs to learn to do the simple things as well as the flair stuff

Ah I don’t think the quality has deteriorated - I won’t constantly do collabs as I want to make my own content, it will be every once in a while just to have something new
