A man who is not only a great Game and Clay shot, but also a man who takes time to talk to people, and always ready to offer help when needed. Well done Dave another informative video.
I genuinely reckon I could stand there with as many carts as I could shoot in one day and still get nowhere near that. Definitely one of the best shots in the world!
I know he's an avid fan of the sub gauges, but I would like to see him push the limits of an antique 10 gauge hammer gun, black powder cartridges. Kind of revisiting 1875 Chicago shotgun evaluations.
its a slightly shorter stock i use for single gunning on game and i like to use it on fitasc for quicker mount, as you wrap up more in winter i find a slightly shorter stock compensates for the additional clothing and visa versa when lightly dressed
no danger - but trap is so far away it had to be operated nearby but to one side, thanks for your observation tho, i can understand your concern, clays are probably 50yd out of the trap before seen and shot at probably 75yd away from the trap in the opposite direction to the trapper + he is also 120yd away from shooter
Probably one of the greatest long distance shooters alive today takes time to talk with kids and parents. You're a gentleman as well as a fine shot.
John Wiles
thanks John very much appreciated but I am in a long list and getting further down it each passing year😉

Hi Dave I notice you now shoot with a Monte Carlo stock on your miroku recently . Why the change from the standard trap stock please
its a slightly shorter stock i use for single gunning on game and i like to use it on fitasc for quicker mount, as you wrap up more in winter i find a slightly shorter stock compensates for the additional clothing and visa versa when lightly dressed

Dear Dave
Congratulations 👏
I want to ask you questions
Miroku internal measure 18.8 or 18.5 ?
Best regards ..
Adem - sorry about the late reply i have just noticed your question, i would always go for 18.7 down to 18.4, 18.8 is little too much overbored
what size shot are you using ??
71/2 and 5s
George Digweed has done 125 yards, with 1 barrel edge on clay? He IS the best shot full stop.
shoots while a dude is at the trap machine
