83 years old and still better than anything on T.V.
I must agree, Calvin, I must agree. I'm 97 and remember these programs well.
@@tonyf.8858 Great for both of you & me as well!
@@tonyf.8858 Me too, Tony! I'm 99.8 years old!
I am 72 and love vintage radio. Good clean comedy and no political correctness crapola. I remember some shows from childhood. My mother really got into it in the 70-80’s and I’ve been hooked ever since ❤️
Yes I so agree and funny to say, I love the commercials.😅
considering that TV wasn't available back in the 30's and 40's , radio gave you the opportunity to use your imagination !
It didn't come to nz until the early 1960s , so I had radio into the early 1970s .
Really enjoyed this, brings back memories with my Dad as he used to tell me stories of old time radio shows!
Same with my Mother and I…
my Mother and I too,
Merry Christmas 🎄
Tv , didn't come to where í live until the early 1960s , so got brought up on radio - it was a bit different then to this too .
The Billy Mills Orchestra guitarist was top notch, whoever he was!
I've always enjoyed Mills and his orchestra. Upbeat and energetic!
I love teeny. She gets mcgee Everytime❤ . M
Its a cool wet Christmas Eve , with no one about 24-12-23
🌲🎁🎊🎉 Merry Christmas , Greetings and Salutatons of the Season , to One and All .
Cannot beat the old radio plays , and both radio and cinema serials= Cliff-hangers .
Merry Christmas no matter how late
TY, Merry Christmas 🎄
I will never forget one of the funniest routines they ever did was with the mayor called strange bedfellows what a funny bit I wish I could find it but it seems to only be on a tape called comedy radio comedians
I remember one where Mayor LaTrivia got tongue-tied talking about the dog catcher in Westchester. Gale Gordon played the mayor, he was a great radio player.
Listened on 11/11/2022.
" 'taint funny, Ron. "
M. Illinois
"What say, Mert" ??
I enjoyed the programs but Christmas Eve without Teenie and her friends singing the “Night Before Christmas” was disappointing.
