This was certainly the best video about bubblegum apocalypses I’ve seen today! I’ll certainly be purchasing your book. But does the donut die at the end?? I must know!
The best one you've seen today? That's an impressive feat. I was realistically hoping for only top 2. And I really can't tell you the fate of the galactic space donut, now can I?

Much too kind, Kid. You have my thanks. And funnily enough, I've already started planning out a second volume and it will have a sword & sorcery novella in it. It's a wacky little world these all take place in.

I have been waiting on this for a pretty good while. Although we have only briefly talked about it, I wasn’t aware that there was going to be multiple stories. And by any chance you did tell me that people I blame it on madness in the brain. As you know I’m going to pick this up. Keep it Snacky!!!
Both are very possible. Space madness is a real thing this time of year. I really don't recall either way. But I appreciate it nonetheless. I think you'll have a good time with it. The Whiskey Creek story in particular.
Just bought it on Zon. I might do a takeoff on it, sort of a parody of Carody's hilarity, a rarity for charity and for the adults, some vulgarity for the critic's disparity. Nice to see the Jergen's ad on the show, then it was time for Jergen's off to see the other ads.
@w.adammandelbaum1805 - Slickly slid that Jergen's is joke in at the last second there. Nice. Hopefully it slide past the Almighty. #stickitothealgorithum
Congratulations, Sterling! I’m sure your novella will sell. I’m still working on my novella, a collection of short stories about a private detective and his adventures on and outside the firm that he works for. I have been working on this project since 1988. Now, I am getting closer to getting published. Keep pen to page, brother! 😎👍✌️
Thank you much, Gary. And that sounds like my kind of book. You'll have to keep me posted on your progress. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about self publishing.
@@AtomicSnackBar I am currently signed on with a self publishing company, because I can’t afford an agent(they are looking for the next best selling author and they are expensive). I have, according to the publisher, a novella that has 250 pages. Not really enough. So I have to send them more stories to augment the number of pages. I have a good feeling about this company because they give the author 100% royalties. If I had a good agent, I’d have to pay him/her almost half of the profits in order for that agent to spread my name around. I hope to be published by or before Christmas. But that depends on the ad campaign by the publishing company. Wish me luck.
@@AtomicSnackBar The bulk sales to bookstores that they sell both online and in stores around the world, if I understand it. The books are bought by Amazon and others that sell online. Bookstores like Barnes & Noble also buy a number of copies for the physical bookstores and libraries around the country. The author gets a quarterly profits check(three or four checks a year). But it may be difficult to say unless you are published and checking in with your publishing representative. I’m looking forward to getting this done. Over 35 years is a long time and I have I know that in publishing, like any other business, especially entertainment, there are no guarantees. Regardless of whether or not my work is successful, which depends upon the readers, at least I can say that I have been published. I had a class with a guy in junior college who was a member of a band. He and his bandmates recorded an album. Strangely enough, they couldn’t sell it in this country. But it sold very well in Japan. He gets royalty checks in the mail from time to time then. I asked if he and his bandmates considered playing live in Japan. He said that he was considering playing live in Japan. I don’t know the band’s name or the title of their album. But, he convinced me that there are people who are open minded about new things outside of the country. It worked for David Hasselhoff and other celebrities. Actress Belinda Bauer(who played Dr. Faxx in Robocop 2), writes books in Australia. It’s all possible.
Just finished your book, Bubblegum Apocalypse Noir. It was really a fun read. The characters were well thought out, the stories were fun, exciting, funny and thought provoking. If I had one complaint it would be I was a little disappointed that Gearheart didn't make one last appearence. I really liked that character. So much so that whenever I read his part I always read it in your voice. Hope you write another one soon and don't forget Gearheart. He needs his own book.
Oh man, this comment just made my day. I really appreciate the kind words and that you liked Gearheart. I have a particular fondness for that character as well. But worry not, Gearheart will definitely return. The little intro part with him and the elf-like detective Coco was a set up for the next adventure, Midnight City Nights. It will start with her side of what was going on and then join up with Gearheart's story when she calls him for assistance. Thanks again, August.

@@garyreid2178 That's interesting. Never heard of anything quite like that. So if you get 100% of royalties, how do they get paid?

It was really a fun read. The characters were well thought out, the stories were fun, exciting, funny and thought provoking.
