Thank you. Is it possible to create a chart in Word which uses data from a table from the same Word document, and which updates as the user changes the data in the table?
Hello, Richard. That is a fantastic question! You can create a Word chart that will update when data changes in a connected Excel table, but I am not currently aware of a way to connect a chart with table data within the same Word document. I will do some research and make a note to get back to you if I find the solution. Thank you for bringing up such an interesting topic!
Hello! Do you have a tutorial on how to save chart templates? My client wants all their charts to have the same general look and field when they create a chart. I am trying to figure out how to set that up in the document I'm created for them. Thanks!
I don't have a tutorial on that topic yet, but thank you for the fantastic suggestion! To save a chart as a template, right-click it and then select Save as Template. You can then give it a name. When you want to use it again, select Insert > Charts > Templates.
I'm working on a project. It's due Friday, the word that I am using is on my school office 365. When I go into insert there is no chart option. Please help!!
Thank you for watching! Are you using Word for the web? If so, there doesn't seem to be a chart option. However, Excel for the web does have charts, so you could potentially make the chart in Excel and then copy it into your Word file. Best of luck!
Thank you for watching my video! I'm afraid I'm not able to diagnose that kind of a problem remotely. I encourage you to contact Microsoft support; I have found them to be quite responsive. Best of luck!

Thank you for watching! The chart styles are found on the Chart Design tab, which won't appear until after you create a chart. Best of luck!
