Great pickups. Johnny Mize was from Demorest Ga which is about 15 minutes away from me. He was a memorabilia and autograph collector his entire life and his collection is on display at Piedmont University in Demorest. His childhood home is still there and now on the property of the university.
Mize is criminally underrated. Cousin to Ty Cobb, Cousin by marriage to Babe Ruth. Lost seasons to military service, Just does not get enough hobby love. Great Pickups!
Great trip to the LCS Jason!! Thanks for the shoutout as well👍🏻. The great thing about the ‘70 set is all of the stadium backgrounds in a lot of the cards. The Johnny Mize is a steal!!!Great additions to your collection. Thanks for the video and thanks for sharing
That was nice! I do bargain boxes at card shops and shows. My latest greatest pickup: 20 cents for 1981 Topps Kellen Winslow rookie,a little off center which was common on those. Takes alot of time to find a diamond in the rough but even ones I just see are great to look at!!
Hi Jason. Nothing better than spending a few hours with your buddies at your local card shop. I`m so jealous as there really is nothing around here for me to do that. For $20 you did pick up some awesome stuff. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
@@SPICY_BEAR Thanks Dan! I enjoy the small pick ups every once in a while. Every pick up can’t be a monster card, otherwise I would be broke lol. Thanks for watching my friend.

Glad you were able to sneak away and pickup some awesome stuff. Nice Jordan pickups. Awesome vintage as well. Love the Fox. Great pickup on the Mize auto. What a great price!

@@brentrichardsbaseballcards That’s the best part of collecting! It’s not what it cost that makes it special. It’s the stories and memories tied to the cards as well as the look of the card. They don’t all need to be hall of famers to be totally cool.
