So this one costs less than a bar of gold and more than a ham sandwich, its not going to be in the budget for everyone but should be under consideration for anyone looking into a new premium DAC, it has a great sound and set of features that allow it to integrate with almost any equipment pairing.

Great review, Matt! This is a little above my budget, but I do love my iFi NEO iDSD DAC, which I would rank as a ham & Swiss cheese with spicy mustard, eh? It is currently being fed from a RoPieeeXL Roon endpoint and a WiiM Pro streamer. Sounds great and love the flexibility of the inputs and outputs. Keep up the great work, sir! 😎

Solid review. ifi products are always pretty interesting feature wise (aside from their streaming platform) but I can never get past the looks; pretty weird looking in the best case scenario but this takes the weird and piles on a gaudy gold trim, and in your face shiny AL panels. It frankly looks cheap and I would have never guessed it was anywhere neat that expensive.

Cheap? The fuck? iFi's iDSD and iCAN line of products, especailly something like the NEO iDSD 2, look anything BUT cheap. What is your definition of 'not cheap'?
