With all the hate, dissension, chaos, and general moral decline in our little world, what a joy it is to hear songs I remember as a child sittiing in church. Songs that remind us that God is in constant watch over His children, and knows their every care, and burden. And though this world no longer resembles the home we grew up in, as beleivers, this world is not our home. One day each of us will see and know we are home as we come face to face with our Lord, and our extended family for eternity.. God Bless. PS. My favorite intrument is the piano. Your playing is a real blessing. It relaxes my mind and encourages me. Thank you
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. -Philippians 4:4 It is such a blessing to have discovered your channel and having the ability to listen while at work, hoping to catch you live sometime. I'm not sure if this is the place for request but if so I would like to request "Looking For A City" like the "King Is Coming" this song reminds me that this world is not our home, rather we have a much greater one coming! Praise the LORD! But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. - 1 Cor 2:9 God bless and thank you for this beautiful music!!
So wonderful to see and hear you playing after the Lord's Great Faithfulness has brought you through another week of time. So many beautiful requests to enjoy. Love Lifted Me, as I'm Constantly Abiding in Him, Day by Day!!🙏✝️🛐🎹🎶🌹
I love to hear you play the piano. In this video your. husband is singing. I grew up hearing those hymns for over 60 years. I seem to forget when you take requests on Friday nights. When you are playing sometime, I would love to hear you play a very old hymn. I never heard it until just recently. Your mother probably knew it.The name is "Overshadowed" by His love.
Loved A name I highly treasure.. when I was growing up in Minnesota the author of that song used to tune our piano and my mom and I sang it for many years. Thanks for trying it
Thank you so much for playing part of A Name I Highly Treasure Susan. It was played so beautifully and I enjoy singing along so much. I was sounding ok while you were playing but when you stopped and I had to sing a cappella, not so good🙂 I’m sure the Lord doesn’t care how I sound, just that we all make melody in our hearts to Him. I would never guess you had cancer because even though all of our outer man are perishing your inner man is clearly being renewed day by day with God’s Word and it has been having a very positive affect on your outward appearance. You look great and younger than when I first started listening and watching you 3 years ago. You are such an encouragement to never quit and you bless all your listeners so much every week. The only plans we make for Friday evenings is you, Live!
Thank you, Jon, I have not played this song in years! Thank you for the request and the opportunity to bring it back. I will refresh my memory of this beautiful song.
@@susanburgessmusic Thank you Susan. I appreciate all you do 🙂 You are amazing and so loved by all your listeners. I will look forward to hearing you play the whole song someday. I very seldom request anything because I love all the songs that other listeners request.
Yes, make sure your heart is right with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus said He is the only way to God. He’s waiting for you to come to Him. . How? A simple honest heart prayer of repentance and inviting Him into your life.
