Took a while to figure out the button has to be all the way in when you rotate and I had to restart the machine for the error message to go away, but a great video. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much. My facility needed a replacement and they won't get one until next week. I've emptied them before on Canons, so I figured I could do the same on the Sharp. Made it way more complicated than I had to emptying it, but coundlt figure out the reset and started unscrewing things. Well, an easy fix next go around. Thanks.

Thank you, this was really useful... the sharp agent said that we can't empty and reset the waste toner collector, we have to replace it,, lol i knew its bull crap, however the job is done thank to you and i screwed one of the best shirt of mine, so the advise if someone doing this at office, needs to remember this can get really messy, and this powder gets everywhere in no time...

As long as you wash your clothes in cold water the toner should come out hot water will set the toner!

I replaced the toner collector box in my MX-5071 and shut the front cover. The printer continues to have an error when trying to print saying "Close the front cover." I have tried turning off the printer completely, taking out the box and putting it in again, opening and closing the cover multiple times and the message still remains. Please help if you have a solution
