Started taking anatomy class from last month, after getting introduced to this series, about a week ago, my drawing has become faster!!! thanks for the awesome! work.
I usually don't comment but I've learned more with two of your videos than I have my whole life dabbing around with tutorials on TH-cam, books, ect. And the time saved?! Amazing
LOVE your channel man. I'm very new to drawing, summer goal is to start and I've done that and I plan to never stop, it's so great. This channel of yours has been the most helpful for me. I appreciate the why we are doing what we are doing vs the "draw this line" on other channels. Helps immensely. Thank you. -Deleted the patreon part. No idea why no posts were showing up. My Sincere apologies. It's working fine for me now. Cheers.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes character, once stated that everyone's ear shape is unique... like finger prints. I agree with BeeJayDel, go wild and be inventive... Ears are forgiving. :)
Hi, I just bought the cartoon inking brush. But how can I make it work like in your video. On your video, your brush can just make thin and thick line without bother adjust the opacity. It seems I can't do it on that purchase brush
Thanks for the videos! Perfect pace for a beginner. I am headed to Patreon to support ya... two other TH-camr’s I watch are Draw with Jazza and Drawing wiff Waffles. Good Luck!!!
I have just started to learn to draw and i love this tutorial it simplifies everything. thank you. on another note tho i have never seen him blink once while he talks.
Great Videos! I recently purchased your brush set and really enjoying it! For this tutorial, it appears that you're using your inker brush, but I'm a bit perplexed on how you make it work like a sketching pencil for the ear guide circles and then like an airbrush when you shade the inner ear. Any advice you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the purchase! For this one I was using the Sketch/Ink/Shade brush. Did you watch the video link that was included with the file (it is in the "Read Me" file.) I walk you through how to use the brushes there!
You are the Maan! That Sketch/Ink/Shade brush is off the charts and perfect for the product design stuff I am working on! The brush set is well worth the money - no hype.
Love your videos. My character design has gotten much better. I love the brushes you use! Could you suggest some brushes or brush settings for photoshop?
Thanks for the awesome videos. They are really useful. I just wonder if you are using the same brush or switching between three brushes during drawing session
@@TheChameleon2008 It's actually a different brush in this video that I made specifically to use on this series. When I started the Cartooning 101, I was using a tweaked 6B and HB pencil that comes standard in Procreate. This one is something totally different from the Natural Inker that I use in the other videos. Still tweaking this one and then I will be releasing it in a pack with some other new brushes! Stay tuned!
Hi BeeJay! Your tutos are amazing, I've seen most of them... Do you think there's any chance you could more info on your Apple pencil settings? You seem to pass very seamlessly from your pencil to the inking pen to the shadow part. That would be awesome! Thank you! Etienne

So great to hear! That's fantastic!
This guy did not blink at all...SO AWESOME! That's why he doesnt get any errors while drawing.
I’m stunned that you know all the parts of the ear! Great video, thank you.
Hahahaha! Thanks!
Hi BeeJay! Thankyou for your videos! Can you download the app your using on the iPad on Microsoft. I absolutely love it

So awesome to hear that the videos are working for you! Thanks for the support on Patreon- much appreciated!!!
I used to draw ears like this, with the outer rim: C|, and a smaller "C" inside for the inner ear.
👍

I literally stopped this video at 13 seconds and drew your nose because of the previous lesson. I wanted to test myself. Now it's time for ears!!!!😎🙏😅
This tutorial series will really bring up my A game when it comes to character design ! Thanks for that !
