Topped with onions, tomatoes ,3 basic chaat chutneys & nylon thin sev, this Indian Street Food Chaat makes a perfect evening snack. Tastes better than roadside sev puri and also prepared in a clean & hygienic surrounding.

    Sometimes called sev batata puri due to the addition of boiled and mashed potatoes, this sweet, spicy and tangy chaat, this no-cook chaat recipe is a favorite snack to enjoy in the evening. Kids absolutely love this snack. Super easy to make without ragda gravy ( a dish of mashed potato patties and pea sauce)
    Puri gives a nice crunch & these chutneys with masalas add mouthwatering flavors to the Sev Batata Puri. The best part about making chaat is that the sweet & spicy chaat chutneys can be made well in advance and stored in refrigerator. If needed to store for a longer time, just freeze it. That way you'll have chutneys whenever you want. Dahi or yogurt is not added to this recipe so hey, it's vegan and vegetarian sev batata poori chaat recipe.

    Ingredients:
    1. 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
    2. salt
    3. 1/2 teaspoon chilly powder
    4. Store bought papdis
    5. 1/2 onion chopped
    6. 1/2 tomato chopped
    7. spicy, mint and tamarind chutneys - recipe:
    8. Nylon thin sev
    9. Chopped coriander leaves
    10. Chaat masala powder
